This was my second stay at 70 Park Avenue - It's really well located, minutes from Grand Central Station and walkable to just about everywhere you would want to go. The rooms are pleasant and the beds comfortable, bathrooms are efficient but tiny. All the staff seem genuinely pleased to see and help you and I enjoy staying here. A... More

Found this hotel on trip advisor. Leidy at reception checked us in. She was so friendly. Upon arrival my husband received a birthday card and drink vouchers for his birthday. Very nice touch. We joined the Kimpton Club and our room was upgraded. The rooms were large and clean. Hotel lobby large as well with a nice wine reception in... More

I loved staying at this hotel. I became a Kimpton member during this stay and was glad I did. This hotel is in the best part of NYC, imo (in Murray Hill/Grand Central area). It's the perfect neighborhood for avoiding tourists but still nearby lots of fun things (Morgan Library, Empire State Building, shops at Grand Central, etc). I love... More

Found this hotel by chance and couldn't be happier. Located a few blocks from Grand Central Station, it is convenient to all subway lines and easy walk to Time Square (if that's your thing). The staff were very very friendly and seemed sincere. The room was typical for NYC, but extremely clean and well appointed. Only thing missing was a... More

We stayed here for a week on vacation. We were lucky enough to secure 4 rooms without a booking after a mix up with our booked apartment. The staff were so friendly and helpful when we were desperate to find accommodation on a Friday afternoon. We were very happy to be in a hotel so close to Grand Central Station,... More

Just got home from visiting NYC, where I was there on part business and mini vacation. This was my second time staying at this hotel, so I was expecting a great visit like last time; but I was wrong. The room was conveyed as a "King Suite", but yet turned out to be a small room with a king bed.... More

The website for 70 Park Avenue makes the hotel look phenomenal. Well, it is not. The rooms are small, even on Manhattan standards and the hotel just seems a little outdated overall. The bathroom was ridiculously small, to the point that it was almost not functional. The hotel is in a great location, close to Grand Central, but, for the... More

Stopped here with my best friend at the end of April for my 40th birthday. Check in was swift and efficient, perfect after a long journey. This was my first trip to the USA, my friends 3rd visit to NYC. She had warned me about NYC hotel room sizes so was expecting the worse. What a surprise a great sized... More

It's easy to feel lost in the hustle of New York City, but 70 Park Avenue is an attentive and upscale oasis for a visit to Manhattan. Located only a few blocks from Grand Central Station in midtown where one can easily take a subway to either tip of the island, the hotel is centrally located where it's easy and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
