I've stayed at the Comfort Inn Chelsea several times before this review. It's always been a decent enough, no-frills, ok because I'm on Business sort of place. For New York the room size was to be expected. Small. But the bed was cozy and in an area that's not nearly as loud as when I've stayed in Time's Square. There is quick access to everything too. I would stay here again.

This hotel delivers what it promises. It is moderately priced (for New York), well situated and basic. The elevators are tortoise like, the rooms cramped, the breakfast of the cardboard plate variety, the running machines broken and the reception amateurish. I was pleased with the location, close to everything, but was disappointed there was no view. The fridge in the room was bearly cold, and the orange juice in the breakfast was warm! Yuck! But overall a nice one night stay.

This hotel has a great location!! We parked in the recommended parking garage for a discounted price! Just a 5 minute walk from Subway station.Rooms quite small but clean, bed comfortable.Breakfast was acceptable.Paying in S.A. Rands we found it very expensive for what you got, saying that we found New York to be very expensive, but well worth doing.
