I stayed here a few nights and luckily for me did not spend much time in the small room. Great location, close to shops, places to eat and quiet. The room was clean and topped with nice amenities but nothing special to set it apart from the other boutique hotels in the area.

I live in Manhattan and stayed here for 1 week in January because my apartment was in the final stages of being renovated. This is a great downtown location. The newly renovated rooms are comfortable. I was upgraded for free from a Standard Queen to a King Deluxe because the room I checked in to at 1am was not clean... More

Dear AlastairCookieNYC, Thank you for sharing your review of SIXTY SoHo. I’m sorry for the Front Desk’s error at check-in. Nevertheless, it sounds like the situation was quickly righted! The new mattress and space-maximizing layout are the result of our recent major renovation. It’s delightful to read that our Housekeeping and Engineering departments delivered excellent service. Please accept my apologies... More

Frequent visitor to NYC for business first time I stayed at the sixty soho. The room I stayed in was the 3rd from best available. It was small. Also you can hear the water works constantly. People flushing the toilet running the water etc. the food was ok. I only had breakfast there. The coffee is not good. The service... More

On arrival to the hotel I was greeted outside by a very friendly staff. In such a big city it creates a home feeling. The lounge had a nice international crowd. Quit full for tuesday night. Nice design in the open spaces of the hotel. Chill music. The rooms are really nice. The bathrooms are terrificI all marble. I ordered... More

Stayed one night in this hotel for buisness. Looking to unwind after a long day. The bed was perfect, and the art and design of the room was nice. The tv was a disappointment. Also the shower curtain was dirty. Wouldn't say I wouldn't stay again but it wasn't perfect

Ok so you've looked at every hotel in Manhattan and still can't decide. Me too. I finally decide that I wanted to be in soho as its the most realistic Nyc feel to it. In soho you really feel like your in Manhattan. Forget all those skyscrapers in the hopelessy jammed tourist zone and come downtown. If your young and... More

Dear silencehunter, Thank you for this amazing TripAdvisor post! We agree that SoHo has a quintessential NYC feel, with just the right amount of activity. We expect to contribute even more to the “cool zone” found here when our new restaurant, Sessanta, opens. Our hotel also has an open-air rooftop bar, which is only open in the summer, so we... More

I was checked into a room on the third floor. When I asked if it would be quiet, I was told yes. The next night a DJ started playing night club loudness music in the restaurant directly under my room until 2am. They gave me ear plugs and offered to move me into a new room the next day. In... More

Loved our more recent stay at Sixty SoHo. The new refurb is very chic and makes the place feel grown up and calm - a welcome antidote to the craziness outside. The reception and bar areas have been turned in t a very relaxed place to hang out, without the bustle or try hard feel that lots of places have.... More

Dear Michael M, Thank you for sharing your impressions of SIXTY SoHo. It is wonderful to read your praise for our refurbishment and for our staff. We have thought about staying here many times for one of our NYC staycations, and we finally booked what turned into two nights through Hotel Tonight for my hubby's birthday. Neighborhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.
