After reading a number of glowing reviews we looked forward to our stay at The Iroquois. However from the moment we checked in we were disappointed. The welcome we received from the Reception staff was dire. Our first room was very run down and literally vibrated from the air conditioning. We were moved into a standard room for the night.... more

Having read such glowing reviews on here, I was curious to see how good this hotel was, and stayed here for a week during a business trip from the UK. The quick summary is that while there was nothing wrong with the hotel, it was nothing I'd get excited about. On the upside, the location is very good, there is... more

I stay in this hotel quite often, it has one of the finest staffs of any hotel I have been to in my life.... They remember your name and always want you to be happy, I tell them it is my in passing birthday and they send a bottle of wine to the room.... As far as accomastions go the... more

We enjoyed our stay at the Iroquois. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel doesn't have a parking garage but there is one right across the street. We didn't need to use the car during our stay, we walked everywhere. It was our first time to New York City and were very surprised. The city is much cleaner than we... more

My husband and I stayed at the Iroquois for 2 nights over the weekend of October 23-25. We have definitely found our "home away from home" while in New York City. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the beds are to die for. The mattresses and Frette linens are unbelievable and as another reviewer said "it felt like... more

A friend of myself and I stayed in the Iroquois last weekend. We loved the location of this hotel - if you are in town to see a play you wont be dissapointed. There is even a nice restaurant called Triomphe inside the hotel, best food we ever had. We booked a deluxe room, which was facing the 44th street.... more

Came to the city for one night to celebrate my "not 50th" birthday. Upon checking in we were informed that we had been upgraded to a suite for the occasion. The suite was lovely and included a living room, large bedroom, dining room, kitchen, walk in closet and bathroom. As mentioned before, the bathroom was tiny but included a stall... more

This hotel was nice but i would not stay here again...the rooms are very small even compared to NYC standards but the most surprising thing is that there is NO vanity or anywhere to place cosmetics and hair dryer, curling iron while getting ready which I think is quite important. The concierge was very nice and so was most of... more

Here's what I experienced this past week after staying 6 nights with a friend from abroad: the good ... great central location for tourists and business; beds extremely comfortable - both mattress & linens; charming small intimate old style hotel; friendly & helpful staff; free wi-fi throughout and/or use of (2) computers in library near front door; elegant restaurant on... more

My wife and I stayed at the Iroquois for our wedding anniversary recently and it is simply one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The hotel has an excellent location on 44th Street, between 5th & 6th Avenues and is convenient for all the major sights in the city. We had a deleux room fronting 44th which had... more

I am delighted to hear you enjoyed your recent stay with us! The intimate settings at the Iroquois and our restaurant Triomphe make them wonderful places for anniversaries, and we were happy to help you celebrate. Congratulations again and we hope to welcome you back next year!
