We recently spent 3 nights at The Iroquois in early December and had an excellent stay. Location - the hotel is very centrally location. 2 minutes walk to Times Sq/Bryant Park, 7 minutes walk to Rockerfeller Centre and 5 minutes walk to Grand Central. We found that we hardly used the Subway at all, enjoying the walk from the hotel... More

Spent seven days at the Iroquois in early December. Staff were impressive from check-in and throughout the week, offering friendly, helpful and efficient service. Rooms were immaculate and comfortable and complimentary coffee and hot apple cider in the lounge was much appreciated in the cold weather! The central location was superb. We were able to walk to the theatres, restaurants... More

This hotel is in the best location, just off time square with 5th ave 2 blocks away in the other direction. Walking distance to all major attractions. The hotel is small but more than adequate. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty standard but clean. The bathroom has a powerful shower with huge sink, supplied with molton brown... More

It is a really nice hotel in a very busy area. It is calm and welcoming , I would highly recommend this hotel if staying in a central location. The staff are a credit to the hotel all of them, it is a very classy hotel. I have stayed in a number of hotels in various cities and I felt... More

My daughter and I just stayed here, and I found this wonderful, small hotel on trip advisor. It's in a perfect location--a quiet street (44th), but close enough to the bright lights and crowds of TImes Square and within walking distance of Madison Square Garden, Bryant Park, and Rockefeller Center. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel had a... More

The Iroquois hotel is a great little hotel in the heart of the midtown theater district. Nearly everything is within walking distance. Two doors away is the famous Algonquin hotel, but their rooms are very small. One minute away is the very convenient eating place The Red Flame -- fastest service you will find anywhere! Service at the Iroquois is... More

This hotel is located perfectly in mid-Manhattan. It is short walk from everything. Two blocks to Times Square, Broadway, Rockefeller Center, and main train station. Just a short walk to Empire State Building and Maddison Square Garden. The rooms are typical for New York (small) but were well done and immaculate. Of course it doesn't matter because it's NYC and... More

The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Guestroom was cramped and dimly lit. Common areas were also small yet attractive. The hotel is convenient to midtown attractions, accessible yet off on a quiet street. Bottom line is its tight quarters for a family of three considering the nightly rate.

We spent ages deciding on which hotel to stay at whilst in New York. There were about 5 on my final list, all in various areas of the city, but all in this price bracket. We finally decided on The Iroquois because of the location and also the positive reviews it had on Trip Advisor. The location is great. Located... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
