Stayed overnight with the livingsocial deal. I give one stars for the price of the deal and the friendly staff. We checked in approx 5pm and our room wasn't ready so we waited about 10 minutes because our room had to be inspected. One we got off the elevator onto the 3 floor, it looked the hallway carpet has never... More

Perfect stay for 5 nights! Travelled from the UK to NYC for a 6 day holiday and found the hotel more then adequate. Staff helpful, rooms comfortable, clean and warm. Very comfy bed which is what you need after a day of sight seeing! You have to get used to the New York traffic noise at night which isn't much... More

The location was very nice with easy access to the 1 train, Riverside park, Central Park and shops/restaurants and services of the Upper West Side. Staff was friendly and helpful. I liked the building style including the lobby, hallways and my sweet little room. The bed was very comfortable and the towels thick. The bathroom may be too small for... More

Very good value for the money. Actually great value for NYC. Would stay at again. Small rooms, pleasant staff, great toiletries. More than adequate. Great "hidden gem" in NYC. Convenient to subways, buses. Definitely would recommend. Rated room poor just because of size-clean with a comfy bed though.

Hotel Belleclaire is absolutely beautiful! From the moment we stepped through the doors we were greeted by friendly staff and good services. We arrived hours before check in, but they allowed us to go to our room anyways. On our second day, housekeeping never came to our room and we were left with dirty towels and no toiletries. Given that... More

I received a promotional email from Hotel Belleclaire and decided on a whim to head to NYC for a little trip. The hotel is very nice. It's not luxurious but it's nicely decorated and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The location is excellent. Great bakeries - 2 French and 1 cream puff! - right around the... My boyfriend and I had a date night sort of thing and we chose to stay at this hotel. The hotel is efficient, courteous, professional, clean, in a good location and comfortable. I am happy they have valet parking, worth the price for that neighborhood.

We had 2 rooms here for Valentine's weekend. One room had 2 queen beds, and a tiny bathroom. The other had a king bed and a large bathroom. For the price, we were happy, and the staff was great. Easy walking to fun shopping and sightseeing.
