Not familiarized with prices in Manhattan but this one was way too expensive for what the room provided. Anyway, the stay was okay only with one little problem on the last day. Apparently Housekeeping felt they didn't have to clean the room since it was the last night and we didn't leave a tip. So it seems they only work... More

Nice rooms, good house-keeping, I really liked the refrigerator. I flew in at 6 am got to the Hotel around 8 or 9 am, stored my bags even though they offered to get me into a room for an additional $50 fee. Close to the subway and Central Park. Great neighborhood, grocery store just around the corner. Once or twice... More

First time in this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were a good size. One small issue was the noisy air-conditioner system which gave me a few sleepless nights but this problem resolved itself after a few days.

The family suite was smaller in reality than it was advertised on the website , however it was good for 5 guests. We enjoyed our stay overall and greatly appreciated the reception staff's friendliness and help. A bar in the hotel would be a bonus!

Up front, I'm in the travel business. I've stayed at many hotels all over the world, from 5 stars to 2 stars and everything in between. I'm fussy. I travelled to NYC with my 15 year old daughter for a girls weekend of sightseeing. We picked the Belleclaire due to it's location. From the moment we entered to check in,... More

Due to some scheduling challenges, we had to stay in two different hotels during our stay in NYC, and there was no comparison--Hotel Belleclaire was significantly better than the other hotel (which was in the same price range and only a few blocks away). Immediately noticeable was the staff. Hotel Belleclaire's staff is courteous and very professional (unlike the other... More

Second time at the Belleclaire. Location is ideal - steps away from the subway, cross town bus & proximity by foot to so many sights. Spacious room & comfortable bed. The staff was great. ***********************************************************

Hotel Belleclaire is in the perfect location in the upper west side. We were there 6 nights and loved the exploring the charming neighborhood. It is right off Broadway with easy access to 2 Subway stops which will take you all over Manhattan. ie. 20 mins. to the 911 Memorial with 1 easy subway transfer. There are many coffee shops... More

We booked a family room and double room for 7 days last September, on the basis it was adjacent, which they confirmed to our travel agent. When I rang to confirm the booking the day before, I was told that the room weren't adjacent. When we got there, we were told not to compain because they had put us on... More

The staff, condition of rooms and locale make this a super hotel on the upper west side with close proximity by cab or subway to Columbia! Ask for an interior room (otherwise the Broadway facing rooms can be loud!). There new pastry/coffee bar is cute in the am, but we miss complimentary guest coffee which many other hotels offer. We've... More
