Great position- out of the rat race! An old property but tastefully kept and surprisingly roomy. The only thing that would improve the room was the air conditioning- it was a 'rattler' which was a little noisy.

the hotel is in a great location however they have window A/C that are noisy and dirty! Our first room was so noisy we didn't sleep. They changed us to a new room with a view of a brick wall 2 feet away with a window A/C that had about an inch of dirt on the filter!! eww and cough... More

Me and four girlfriends had a really nice stay at this hotel last week. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was wonderful. The concierge was especially nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, on the upper west side, and only a few short blocks from Central Park, a subway station and the museum of... More

For almost $600 per night we probably could have found a nice adjoining room situation which would have better suited our family. The two bedrooms were large but the shared bathroom was tiny. Location was good and a short walk to the subway. The suite was a on the street side and pretty noisy in the morning.

As always, the Belleclaire is my spot to stay when I find myself in the city for the evening. Rebecca at the front desk has helped me several times and when I called to confirm my reservation, I asked if there were any upgrades available. She told me there was a more romantic room, the Broadway King, available and I... More

I booked this hotel as part of a package deal, and it was something of a bargain. I'd never stayed on the UWS before, but was somewhat familiar with the neighborhood. The location is actually fine; 5 blocks north of a west side express subway stop at 72nd. You can cruise all the way to Times Square nonstop. If you... More

Charming boutique hotel, fresh and friendly. Coming with 3 kids to NYC can be a challenge. We reserved the suite with 2 bedrooms. The rooms were not separated with a door, which meant less privacy. Relatively to NYC the room was spacious enough. Service was very good, good water pressure and valet parking service. They have good products ,coffee and... More

This hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Excellent choice. I will definitely stay here again. It is very close to subways. Close to local shopping and eateries. The bell staff was very helpful and courteous.

All good except for location of my room this last time. Very claustrophobic! My room on the second floor was not cell phone friendly. Cell phone worked sporadically. My windows looked out onto a brick wall. A few times i hoped to get a snack at the food bar in the lobby, no one was there to service me and... More

Spent one week in NY with my boyfriend at the Hotel Belleclaire and really loved the room we were given. We were in room 808 and it was just perfect for us. Nearly a "turret" room with large windows opening on to W77th St, it had an extra corridor type of space which was perfect for my boyfriend's bike as... More
