the bathroom door wouldn't shut properly, the tv would cut out audio and video making it not enjoyable to watch and the heat would make banging noises preventing sleep, expired orange juice for purchase in the mini fridge.

Treated like royalty at the Belleclaire! Even though we paid a bargain price, booking through a mobile app for last minute reservations that didn't guarantee any particular room category, we called and told the hotel that we were celebrating a special occasion and were upgraded to deluxe queen room #815, which is beautiful, modern, and spacious. There was even a... More

Perfectly situated on a quiet street in NY, close to subway stations, restaurants and coffee shops and only a short walk away from Central Park. All the staff are extremely kind and helpful and make sure the hotel is presented in the highest of standards. It was my first of hopefully many trips to New York, and I will definitely... More

5 mins walk to 2 subway stops and Central Park, which is a massive bonus, also good safe location in general. Pretty good value for money, but bear in mind the taxes and fees which are not included in the advertised price. The room we had was in desperate need of some TLC with outdated furniture. The bed was comfortable... More

This was a pleasant stay. The hotel had a lovely diffused scent in the lobby. The room had a wonderful window seat to enjoy wine and to explore the night life outside. Had a lovely time and the children want to go back.

I work for a top hotel in Los Angeles and my tastes are very particular and demanding. Hotel Belleclaire has NEVER failed to deliver an amazing stay and experience. All of the staff are helpful and go the extra mile. Can't wait to return!

The location of the hotel is good but depends what you want to see or do in the city. Luckily we only stayed for one night, the room itself was so small and cramped, and the bathroom was outdated long and narrow space facing a sketchy alley... not the cleanest either. The worse part was the super old shaky AC... More

We stayed for three nights the first week-end in February. The staff was helpful; the room was clean and fairly spacious for NYC, the bed linens were crisp and the bed was comfortable; the bathroom had plenty of room. We were a bit disappointed that there was no complimentary coffee in the morning. The location is wonderful - close to... More
