My husband and I stayed at 6 Columbus for two nights--he had to travel to NYC for work and his client chose this hotel for us based on location and price. I think this place is a steal. We paid less than $200 a night for a Queen Deluxe. For New York--this seemed like a great price. Now, I must... More

My boss stayed here and when he checked out he left a jacket and a pair of slacks. We called the next day and were told that they had the items and we asked them to mail them. I called the next week and was told that they did not mail the items and could not locate the items at... More

Our taxi driver couldn't find the hotel, as 6 Columbus Circle puts you right in front of the Time Warner Center. Not to worry, we saw the hotel through an arch way -- it's located on W58th street, just south of the Columbus Circle. Peter, the doorman/bell, helped us with our bags and was great through out our stay. We... More

The 6 Columbus Hotel is a very well placed hotel near to the subway and to everything in Manhattan. Rooms are small but hotel is modern and clean. Price is not low but considering we are in Ny os acceptable. If you want the Central Park as a big part of your experience in Ny then you are in the... More

My wife and I just finished visiting the city and I must say we had a lot of fun, but the 6 Columbus will not see me again. For over $500 a night the room was terribly small. There was barely enough room to put our suitcases in. I have seen larger dog houses! The bathroom was very small and... More

I enjoyed the stay here in NYC. I was in Manhattan for a friends wedding, and the retro style and incredibly polite staff were very courteous, and helpful, particularly getting dinner reservations for a VERY last minute bachelor party, and getting around a very busy city.

I stayed at this hotel on a work trip and was very disappointed. i am not sure the exact level of the room i stayed in, but for $450 a night i would assume it wasn't the cheapest. it was the smallest room ever (and i have stayed in lots of nyc hotels) with no place to put anything but... More

We stayed at Six Columbus for our anniversary break. It was a gorgeous hotel, our room was very stylish and a good size too. The bathroom was very modern, but the bath was a little too small, and that's perhaps the only downside if you like a good soak. We had an excellent range in the minbar and there were... More

The room was on the small end but the comfort and value were on the high. Located in one of the best areas of the city, right on Columbus Circle close to Central Park and Times Square, but without the extraordinarily high prices you see for most hotels in this area of the city. The bed and linens were so... More

First the positives.Absolutely brilliant location.Near to everything.Central park,5th avenue,Time Warner Centre,Lincoln Centre. Can't fault it. Now for the negatives.I booked a studio suite just like another reviewer only to find it to be a poky room with a hard floor,a terrace i couldn't access(due to construction).Absolutely no seating available except an office type chair and a small desk which was virtually... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
