Super small rooms, even for New York, with only a bed and no other real furniture. Thin walls and you hear everything outside the room because the bed is only 2 feet from the door. I have mistakenly stayed here 3x and always end up in a queen room that seems smaller than any queen bed I've ever been in.... More

Stayed here for one night on a couple of weekends ago. We arrived on an early flight on a Saturday morning and weren't expecting to get a room at 9am, so we were pleasantly surprised when the front desk gave us a room right away. We went to our room to drop our bags and found out that the downside... More

Stayed here for two nights and attended three Met operas in the Lincoln center. It was safe to walk from the Lincoln center to this hotel alone even in the midnight hours. The room we had was a large street facing room on the 11th floor. It had a balcony with floor to ceiling glass door and windows. The Mandarin... More

For me, the hotel is more like 3 and a half stars, but the location is 4 and a half...... The lobby is small and service was good. Fast. not particularly friendly. The hallways need a make-over, they are dark-ish and my floor - on 6th, worn. The rooms are small BUT Clean! and that's a big plus. Bed was... More

Visiting 6 Columbus hotel with our 3 year old and baby sitter from Los Angeles. When I spoke to front desk last week on the phone we were told that though none of their rooms (except for penthouse suite) had kitchenettes nor microwaves, they were more than happy to warm up any foods we might need for the lil one.... I hate to admit it but we Pricelined and got this hotel. Had no idea what to expect. It looks a little worn out on the outside but it has a few great things going for it. 1. Location is EXCELLENT. Right next to a major subway hole and on the SW corner of Central Park. 2. There is a... More

From the moment that I booked this hotel reservation, they were ready to be there with anything that we needed. I wanted to pre-pay the stay because it was a gift to my daughter and her husband for their anniversary. Eliseo Alvarez, Front Office-Assistant Manager went above and beyond to be accommodating to me prior to their stay. They loved... More

Stayed here for 5 nights in mid-March. Firstly, this hotel is fine... but just fine. It appears as a 4 star hotel on booking sites, but I have stayed in many hotels and this is arguably nearer a 3 star hotel. I don't dispute they probably have more lavish rooms than their POD or Queen rooms, but ultimately this just... More

This hotel is conveniently located steps from Columbus Circle and Central Park. Like many NYC hotels the rooms are very small but they are designed to make the most of the space. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly.

First of all, this hotel is in a great location for exploring the city. Easy walking distance to much of the city, and several subway lines right across the street. The staff were generally friendly, though the desk clerk said he'd call when my room was ready and never did. The room was as tiny as expected, but there were... More
