+ Nice breakfast included, good service, great location by the park and conveniently close to subway station, value for money. - Very loud air condition device in our room (518), had to be shut off in order to get some sleep, but then it got hot...

Me and my wife just spent 10 days at the Washington Sq Hotel and we are very satisfied. The room was nice and tidy, the staff were great and very friendly, the breakfast was good too. And of course the location is excellent for "doing" NYC, located right next to the subway. Best stay in NYC ever, highly recommended

We stayed here in a room overlooking Washington Square, with my partner and 2 year old daughter. We were only really sleeping and washing here, but we did fill up with the buffet breakfast most mornings, and I had a sup of their beer range one night in the bar, some nice hoppy ones on draught. You've the Subway half... More

The room was clean (you could eat off the bathroom floor) and the staff was friendly. This was a great location in Greenwich Village. I will definitely stay there again. When I say this was a nice hotel, I don't mean "this was nice for New York." I mean it was nice.

We were looking for a quiet area centrally located in NY. This hotel is just that, but aside, it seems to be in the heart of a neighborhood. The staff is great with an onsite restaurant for breakfast and easy access to the Metro. The rooms are small but adequate with AC. While it may seem pricey, it is a... More

Last week I stayed at the Washington Square Hotel for the third time, and I couldn’t recommend the place more highly. The location is fantastic, the staff professional and friendly, the beds afford a good night’s sleep and the breakfast offers all guests a wide range. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and (as we found this time, and my... More

I stayed here with a friend. We were on a budget and opted for the most inexpensive room that would accommodate us. We got the 2 twin beds deluxe room. All we had for a view was some near by buildings, but the trade off was that it was really quiet with no street noise! The bedroom and the bathroom... More

Had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the Washington Square Hotel. Wonderful - trendy - hip. Walk to everything in Soho, Village, etc. Small rooms but very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar had great drinks!

My husband and I spent a night in New York at the Washington Square Hotel. It was the first time in a very long time that we didn't end up staying at a big chain in Midtown like the Hyatt, Hilton or the Marriott and so the location in the heart of Greenwich Village was a pleasant change for us....
