The Hotel Deauville is like a grand dame whose slip is hanging. It is a beautiful old building; small yet imposing, and with renovation, it could be restored to its former beauty. The most wonderful amenities in the hotel are its desk clerks: Edward, Eddie and Gene. All three are excellent, knowledgeable, charming, and efficient. They genuinely care about the... More

Hotel Deauville meets the basic needs. The building is antique and has some details in furniture. Follow closely to service personnel; sometimes they forget cleaning rooms, answer the phone or operate the elevator.

Stayed for a week in June 2015. The hotel is clean and the bed comfy the staff were very friendly. The hotel could do with a bit of updating. My only advice for anybody staying here is ask for a room not on the front the street was very noisy and we was woken every night. I know it's newyork... More

We picked the hotel because of its central location in Manhattan and were truly delighted with our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - even providing us with a power adapter when we realised we didn't bring the correct one. The room was clean and well serviced and despite being in the centre of the city was still... More

The hotel wad great with its art deco lift and stairwell. The room was clean and tidy and the beds were comfy. The best thing was that we didnt have to use the subway....we walked New York from here, such a great location but also quiet. Delies, shops and diners are on hand for breakfast and the fridge in the... More

The hotel is located in a central part of NY, with friendly staff, and older facilities, though the bathroom was clean and the carpet not bad. Perfectly functional for the family that needs it for a bed and shower. Staff assisted with a number of small extras ... always a welcome feature! Hotel elevator is one of those European like... After returning from new york the other day i must say this was a great little hotel. The staff were accomodating and the rooms were clean and thats the most important thing. When going on city breaks you spend most of your time out of the room and i can say when we came back from a long day sight... More
