OK, it's a bit dated -- but that just adds to its charm. The lift is an experience in itself. We were on the 7th floor for 8 nights over new year and we never once waited more than a minute for the lift to appear with an operator ready to take us up or down. The desk staff are... More

We stayed at the Hotel Deauville during the Christmas holiday, and had a great experience. It's a surprising little gem, close to transportation, with good size rooms and helpful staff. If you are looking for luxury or brand new accomodations, stay somewhere else. The furnishings are a bit worn out, but the bathroom was clean, there was plenty of towels,... More

This old-school, smaller Manhattan hotel is clean, offers excellent value and is convenient to everything. Front desk personnel are polite. TV and wi-fi are a plus, although we didn't spend that much time in the room.

Stayed here over New Years, such a cool little hotel. Rooms are spacious. Epic location only 500m from Empire State, and right at 28th street subway stop. The elevator is super old and has an elevator operator which adds to the charm. Really good value especially for the location

We absolutely loved our time at Hotel Deuville. The hotel is a short walk away from the empire state/msg/times square, and also right next to a subway station for subways to Brooklyn bridge and ground zero. The hotel staff were so friendly, and let us print off tickets on their computer as well. The room was clean and the bathroom... More

This hotel is a wonderful budget option, in a really good location, near lots of restaurants, bars, and transportation. The rooms are simple and clean, the water pressure in the shower is decent, and the hot water is plentiful. The staff is uniformly friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed staying here, and will do so again. Bright lavender bathroom tiles... More

Nothing fancy but perfect Mid town location with a freindly staff and squeaky clean room. The building is old but very clean and the rooms are typical Manhattan with a very small footprint but you're only in there to sleep. The staff were very freindly and helpful should you have any questions about where to go etc. My only knock... More

Upgraded to a great room but over a noisy road. Classic retro bathroom, comfortable bed. So well placed for Midtown, good take-away food over the road and fridge/kettle in the room. Great budget value, would def go back

Stayed here for one night. The hotel is old school, straight out of the 40's-50's. I wasn't expecting much, considering the low price and it had mostly what I needed. The reason for the low score is because there was no hot water in the morning to shower and the reason for staying there was because it was in close... More
