I needed a reasonably priced hotel near Carnegie Hall for a week end trip to NYC - and found it with Park Savoy. Yes there is no lobby, the elevator is slow and the rooms are small. But it is clean, the help was polite, and it wasn't noisy - and the price was very reasonable. I would stay there... More

I have stayed here twice. What I like best is the location. It's near Central Park, there's a subway station around the corner and you can get to interesting places on foot. Rooms are small, but they have private bathrooms which was difficult to find for the price in other hotels.

My recent stay at the park savoy reminds me why this location is one of those locations that will never be visited again. Stayed with my brother for a night before we headed off and after we checked into the room and walked in it was a mess. Went downstairs to speak to the agent for a switch in a... More

wonderfully placed hotel, walk to the Lincoln centre, MOMA, carnegie Hall........and the best ice-creams in New York at Grom ! very close to the subway.the hotel is small, rooms OK, best to ask for rooms at the back, particularly during the current building work nearby. a short walk for breakfast at the "La Parisienne" diner is a good start to... This hotel is really really low budget. I haven't seen such a hotel. Very basic, it is clean, but I would like to suggest people who read reviews to have it clear that this hotel is only good to save money and stay for sleeping. At the reception they are not very informed about things in the area (like: Where... More

I would like to say first that the professionalism of the staff was wonderful! They were so nice! That is always a breath of fresh air when you are planning a trip somewhere. The building is old, but I thought it was cool! My thought is wow, someone built this and it is still here! Anyways, if you are someone... More

I'm not telling anyone about this hotel. I would like to book a room here next visit to NYC. I don't want it to become too popular. Nor too pricey. Shhhhhhhhhh!!! I'm not telling. Nor should you. Let's keep the Park Savoy a secret. :-)

It might be a little on the small side but your not in the Big Apple to stay in your room. The rooms get cleaned each day and you're within walking distance or a short subway ride away from most of the tourist attractions.

We spent one night in this hotel! The location is great and walkable to everywhere. 5 minutes to Times Square. The room was so small and not at all comfy! Bed was small old and creaked! Bathroom was not that bad but also too small. For wifi u need to pay. Breakfast? One muffin and one cup of coffee! The... More

I stayed at the Park Savoy in june with my girlfriend this year. The location of the place was great but the room was pretty bad considering it was over $300 AUS / night. Our room was on the first floor, right above the sign, below a really annoying bar. This would've been fine if Park Savoy actually had proper... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
