My husband and I stayed 7 nights in room 308. Not too big the room or bathroom, but for the daily rate, it was a bargain...anyway we were out most of the day, so we barely were in the room. This hotel was so location convenient: like 2 blocks to Central Park, a few blocks to Time Square, and Rockefeller... More

High points: The location. Just one block (short ones) from south edge of Central Park, and ridiculously close of 5° Ave, St Patrick Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, Lincoln Center and Time square. Also in the same block can find subways station for lines F and N, Q, R. Normal: The room normal, clean bathroom and very dark. Breakfast was not in... More

This hotel was not cheap even when it stated it was online. The room was the size of a broom closet. It was dirty. The sheets were dirty. The bed was hard as a rock. Also the bathroom had mold in the shower. Overall this was the low point of the stay.

This hotel was not fancy by any stretch of the imagination. However, it was more than enough for my girlfriend and I who were out exploring the Big Apple for most of the time. This hotel is right next to Central Park and short walking distance of Times Square. The room was small but clean and for the price you... More

Even though it's not a fancy hotel, corridors are narrow to go through with the large suitcase, breakfast is modest, in a small room,BUT the location of the hotel is just a stap away from the Central park and that was the most important thing! If you wanna see NYC, that's the best hotel for low price you can get... More

You could not find something better in New York for that price. It is located right in the middle of everything. You won't even use transport while in town. Everything is in walk accessibility. BUT, rooms are extremely small. And leave check for payment till the end of staying. Because when I came to the hotel for my last night... More

New York is a super super fun city to visit, however it is not a cheap place to visit. I discovered the Park Savoy hotel a couple of years ago and it's now my go to place for staying in the city. It is nothing fancy and I don't think I could stay for more than a night or two,... More

I stayed in this hotel with my husband. We had a three day stay during new year holidays. My opinion of this hotel based on my experience is that it has the best location. It is so close to Times square and even closer to the Central Park. The rooms were not at its best but the staff was very... More

Please do not believe what Tripadvisor, booking.com or priceline.com telling you about this hotel - it is rundown filthy hole run by the untrained and unprofessional stuff - if you do not want to ruin your NY experience - never stay here. Looks like all the positive reviews done by the stuff or the owner of the property - normal... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
