I spent 2 nights recently at the Park Savoy and had a very good experience. Rooms are tired and basic but for $150 a night in the middle of Manhattan an absolute bargain. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room clean and quiet. As a lone female traveller I felt very safe and will definitely return.

I booked a room on 5/14/14 and received a cancellation notice via email 4 hours later. After calling the hotel and waiting 20 mins for someone to pick up I was told "no rooms available" and hung up on.

Stayed here May 7-10 with a friend for the NFL Draft. Most of what my fellow travelers wrote is true. The rooms are very small, the elevator is slow(we were on the 7th floor), the place isn't brand new and the construction in the area is loud early mornings. If a $500/night room is more to your liking Marriott Essex... More

We stayed at the Park Savoy Hotel 2 - 4 May 2014. Room 414. Room was small but we expected that. The bed was comfortable but had some noisy springs. The shower takes quite a long time to get hot but it does get hot. Bathroom was clean. TV was a small flat screen but it worked well. The carpet... More

Small, clean, windows faced street, lots of city noises at night, loved that. Convenient at midtown; Only problem If big like me, shower is small. When water runs in adjoining room shower temp changes.

I stayed here with my grandson April 16th. The room was a large closet. The bathroom was very clean but barely enough room to turn around. The staff were friendly. It had old style radiator heat with no way to control. I would not stay there again. I guess this is what you get for $123.00 per night in New... More

The location was good, and the staff friendly. I didn't expect much from the hotel as it was relatively inexpensive, but was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and general appearance of the hotel. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast so can't comment on that. Don't book if you expect a fantastic view and room service! Only disappointed by having... More

New York prices are crazy and we knew we would not be much in the hotel so we went for a cheap hotel in a good location and we knew what to expect. This modest hotel located just one block from Central Park. For an Hotel in NYC he has a good standard and it workers are Relatively nice. Such... More

We stayed here between Christmas and New Years, and the location was great. It's walking distance to Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and many other great NYC attractions. It was a fine place to just crash for the night, but don't expect any amenities. Some of the disappointing things about the place included the following: (1) When we went... More
