We had decided to travel to San Fransisco in September 2015 and we decided we would also hit Vegas! With it being my first time in America and my life long dream to go to New York we made the decision to bite the bullet and do the 6hr flight from Vegas to NY..... After the most amazing days in... I do not like to post completely negative reviews. But in this case, it is necessary. The rooms are the size of a typical walk-in closet. The bathroom was so small, you could shower, shave and "uh-em" in the same spot. I hope you don't have a "wide stance" while sitting on the toilet, or you'll have to open the... More

Run run as fast as you can! We were greeted with mice and blood on our mattress! We paid 200 dollars for a one night stay. No sheets on the bed and all of the furniture was broken. The stairs were steep and the lock on the door was broken. Couldn't even complain because the man at the desk didn't... More

I have stayed in hotels all around the world, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I had selected three stars on Hotwire and this is what I got. No elevator so I had to climb steps ( I am recovering from a broken hip and using a cane) carrying my own bag. I finally get... More

The worst place I've ever stayed -- even a budget hotel in the back streets of Cairo was better. The first room: the key didn't work, the 2nd room the TV didn't work and there was absolutely no place to hang clothes, the 3rd room they moved me to, only had a master key for them to let me in... I was in NY for some days but the hotel where I was staying in did not have rooms available for my last night in town, so i booked in this “hotel” (of horrors). It’s been the worst hotel I have ever experienced. The staff was so unpleasant, rude and impolite, wifi was not working and everything was disgusting (carpets,... More

Freezing cold room, we had to sleep with our jackets on (this was in February) but didn't get much sleep bevause of our snoring neighbors. You can hear every sound from the other rooms. The room was dirty and pretty much everything was broken. The water was too cold to shower in, neither the TV nor the wi-fi were working.... More

1. There is are numerous violation notices on the front door warning the building should not be occupied. 2. Should there be a fire (which by the looks of the photos here should be sooner than later) you'll be trapped. 3. The doors have gaps and don't lock properly - and there are bugs, pests galore. 4. You should respect... More

Wow. Where do I start..? The toilet leaks on the floor which mixes with the tiny poorly designed and poorly enclosed shower. The bathroom smells like mold, and some other smell I don't want to write about. The shower is about 800x800 with a shower curtain that sticks to you, and the water has two modes: stone cold or boiling... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
