We stayed at two other downtown hotels during our trip to New York - The Holiday Inn on Nassau St. and the Marriott Downtown. Although the Marriott had the best facilities, the customer service at the Cosmopolitan was by far and away the best that we experienced during our holiday in America (we also stayed for 1 week in CT).... My husband and I stayed 3 nights recently. Location is a bit out of the way for anyone wanting the hustle and bustle of Midtown, but there is a subway stop just outside the door and several bus routes nearby making the entire city quite accessible. The Village is a 20 minute walk with Soho even less. The new World... More

We stayed at Cosmo Tribeca for one night. We found an excellent deal on this hotel for about half off, which is the main reason we booked this, rather than a hotel for which I have elite/platinum status. I have to first say the staff were very friendly, both at check-in and the duration of our stay. We were allowed... More

We enjoyed a tremendous trip to NYC and The Cosmo had a lot to do with our weekend. This hotel is ideally situated in TriBeCa, so close to so much--Chinatown, Little Italy, the 9/11 Memorial, the Brooklyn Bridge, many stores and restaurants, and the Subway (1, 2, & 3 lines immediately outside the Hotel; 4, 5, 6 just a few... I can't say enough about the team at the Cosmo. They are friendly, helpful, and fun loving and provided spot on recommendations for dining and local conveniences. When we had a lamp that went out during our stay, it was replaced within minutes. The hotel itself is very clean and well kept. The rooms are a bit on the small... More

This has to be the most finely tuned staff of any hotel I've ever stayed in! Thank You for making our stay in New York memorable. Everyone knows your name the first day making you feel at home.I had a completely different idea about New York and New Yorkers before I came here and I attribute that to the staff... More

This is a great hotel in NYC for a great price. The mattress was the best I've ever slept on in a hotel and when I requested additional pillows from the front desk they promptly arrived at the door 5 minutes later very clean and plump. There were only two very small downsides - as has been mentioned the air... More

Nice, clean, functional hotel, excellently located between two metro lines and in walking distance to Hudson, 9/11 memorial and other Lower Manhattan sites. Good shios and little restaurants in the vicinity. Can be noisy at night, due to construction work everywhere in the area. Starbucks in the same building for breakfast. Rooms small and pretty crammed, service friendly and competent.

New grand daughter born in NYC and we needed a place to stay near the family. The location was perfect. The hotel has few amenities but the rooms are clean and air conditioned, necessary for summer in NYC! There are flat screened TVs. We have been in two rooms as the first one was way too tiny for a couple!... More

Stayed at the Cosmopolitan Hotel during a business trip. Despite the street construction surrounding the hotel, I enjoyed my four-day stay. The check-in process was straightforward and the front desk staff were welcoming. My room was clean, well-appointed, and the bed was firm, yet comfortable. My room was on the small side, but it got the job done. My window... More
