Nice and clean hotel - rooms are old fashioned but that's ok as the waters warm and beds clean. Great location, lots of cool bars near the hotel and only a 10 min walk to times square. Staff are friendly and the concierge is very knowledgeable.

The Skyline hotel is a great find in NYC. Located about 7-8 mins from Times Square and 15 mins from Central Park. The rooms are super clean, beds are comfortable, and the hotel is really quiet. Great concierge service and freindly staff. Would definitely use again when we go back to NYC

Stayed with a bunch of friends. It was well located, clean, comfortable and pretty much "did what it said on the tin". The reception staff weren't mega friendly but by no means rude, and the staff in Meemo's were great. We enjoyed our week there and would use it again for a base on a future visit

The hotel is a 30 mins shuttle ride away from Newark airport. There are ongoing refurbishment works, but don't let that put you off. It is a 10 min walk from Times Square - close enough to the action, but far enough away that you are not disturb by day-to-day activity all day and night. All the staff were helpful... More

Great location, walking distance to Time sq, minus the crowds & noise. Although there were roadworks & we awoke to the sounds of the jack hammer. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The room decor is a bit old fashioned but never the less clean. Paid wifi in the rooms, free wifi in the lobby area. Instead of getting your coffee/tea from... More

Just a few blocks from the main thoroughfare, this was an excellent location to find great places to eat or have a drink en route to the touristy stuff. Food was good, but prefer to eat out as it is very close to Hells Kitchen. Drinks very reasonable with knowledgeable bar staff. Room was very specious with two double beds... More

Enjoyed a great stay in Mid-town New York at this hotel. We stayed in a comfortable, clean, quite spacious room on the 5th floor, with super views of the Manhattan skyline - hence the name. The swimming pool was what made me book this hotel and I wasn't disappointed. The pool wasn't state of the art but large enough for... More

We did not expect luxury at this hotel. We knew what we were getting. It was our first trip to NY and we needed to stay in this location, thus the choice. I think all the reviews here are from overseas travelers as no American family would ever rate this hotel highly. Pros: Location. Cons: ROOM 1: Where do I... More

I booked this hotel for a birthday treat for a friend and had already had doubts before we got there. The hotel were friendly enough and always polite. Had a problem with the lights flicking on and off by themselves in our room and had to report it 3 times before anyone came to the room and then it was... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
