The hotel was clean and comfortable. We booked a double bed and ended up with two double beds but not really an issue. The concierge was extremely helpful with getting information. Location is within walking distance of Times Square, Broadway and the subway (line is to the Statue of Liberty) making it perfect for tourists. Upon arriving at the hotel... More

First, let me thank you for the nice comments about Larry and Lilliana, our conceirge team. i receive so many nice comments about them. We looked into booking this hotel on the recommendation of family friends. As a family with two kids, the penthouse pool was a huge draw, but what sealed the deal for us was the great price and its proximity to the Manhattan Cruise Terminal (we were leaving on a NCL cruise after a few days of sight-seeing). I emailed the... More

My partner and I booked the Skyline Hotel through Virgin Holidays for a 4 night break in New York. I'm not going to fib, we booked the Skyline as this was the cheapest hotel available in a reasonably good location, and boy we had a fab stay. The hotel reception staffed greeted us in a friendly and timely manor and... More

In New York from 14th t0 20th March we stayed the 6 nights in this hotel. Check in was very smooth and any time we needed directions the staff were very knowledgeable. Didn't get a chance to use the rooftop pool as we were so busy sightseeing but other guests told us it was very warm and welcoming. Restaurant was... More

Stayed here for two days while in town for a doctors appt. The hotel itself is nice, rooms are a good size (for nyc rooms). The beds were comfy, and even though our room overlooked 10th Ave, it was actually pretty quiet. The concierge Larry was great in helping us plan our day and gave us helpful tips and maps... More

Grey & dirty on the outside same for the inside. Nowhere to hang your clothes / tiny damp room.No Restaurant or anywhere to buy a coffee as there were no tea / coffee making facilities in your superior room! Checked out within two hours - just the time it took to book another Hotel in Starbucks as you had to... More

I was tottally shocked reading your comments about the hotel. I can understand the inconvience of the restaurant that was closed for renovations, reopening March 31. However, we have been serving complimentary coffee, tea and snacks in the morning during the restaurant project. I would also point out that we are surrounded with great restaurants around the hotel. What I... More

I stayed here with my friend for a week in the Superior room. It was very clean and very spacious, clean towels and the beds were really comfortable! Location was perfect. 10 minutes from Times Square and Rockefeller. Only 2 blocks down to get to a subway station. Walking distance to allot of restaurants. The bad thing about the hotel... More

On the positive side , I am glad you enjoyed the comfort of the room, especially the service of cleaning. I am sorry that you felt we let you down on service. I am not sure why you looked for the concierge to be involved with your need for help with luggage, as the bellman are responsible to offer assistance... More

Thank you for your kind comments about your stay. I appreciate answeing the question about bed bugs not in the hotel. I certainly am always concerned about this, as any hotel is subject to guest bringing them in to the hotel. It is important how we prevent any spread , by being proactive in our service and training of the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
