It's my first time in 10 years to be in USA again and NY was our first stop. Gotta say this hotel is at a really good standard which makes our trip to NY more delightful! Check in was really quick and the front desk was friendly. We booked a family suite which contains 2 double beds (which were massive)... More

It's a good hotel, fairly price. The restaurant needs more management since, when with went for a happy hour time, from 4pm to 6pm according to the sign outside of the restaurant and the server didn't about.the food was good.price fair.

We loved this hotel. It's close enough to walk to Central Park and all the action, yet it's in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We loved all the dining options within 5 blocks of the hotel, the staff is super friendly and eager to help. The restaurant staff is terrific, too. Be sure to check out the very clean pool.

The hotel is nice and a great place to get your head down, the rooms were spacious and it is in a good location. The pool is only open in the morning and in the evening which is quite limited and it was closed on our first night due to a lightning storm. This hotel would have had a better... More

My wife and I stayed at the Skyline during a recent trip to NYC. Reading recent reviews made us worry a bit, however it was a very nce hotel with a massive room with 2 large beds on the 5th floor. So no noise to speak of. Bar was nice and comfortable and reasonably priced. Restaurant was Tex Mex so... More

A well located hotel. Grocery and restaurants nearby. Broadway and the times square are also a few blocks away from it. Ninth avenue is quite noisy but the windows blocks almost all the noise. Good heater that kept the room cozy during the winter. Nice experience.

Skyline is located on 10th avenue and 49th street, placing it directly in the middle of Manhattan. The price for a night is very reasonable at around $120-$150. The rooms are moderately large, but they get the job done. It's not really a place you want to spend a romantic day in bed at. Your view is dependent on if... More

I think you said it all, we are a good hotel at a resonable price in a great location for touring everything NYC has to offer. I guess that is why we are so popular with our tourist who have been staying here for years. I thank you for the nice comments about the staff and hope you have an... More

This being an inexpensive room, doesn't mean it lacks quality. Nice bedding, comfortable bed, nice bathroom (although it could seriously use a fan) and friendly concierge and front desk. I had a pleasant stay here, I felt I was treated very well, and enjoyed the amenities and friendly staff. I'd stay here again for sure.

Thank you for your kind comments about the friendly staff. We know we have a great location and some of the most comfortable rooms in NYC, but the difference is always what our guests feel about the interaction with the staff of the hotel. All the best, Mark Hurewitz More

Stayed here in June 2015 in a family of 5 in a junior suite room that accommodated all 5 of us adults in one room (very rare in New York!) we were sceptical at first due to all 5 of us being in one room so we thought it would be cramped but we were pleasantly surprised as the room... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
