Hotel website makes this place look much better than it really is. However, the staff are friendly and quite helpful. However during our stay the restaurant was hardly in operation. It opened post minor refurbishment whilst we were there and they couldn't supply even the most basic things. The hotel however had recommended that we walk a few blocks to... More

This was the best choice for my 2 night stay in NY. Walking distance to Time Square, 5th Avenue, Empire State Building...restaurants, bars and lots of points of interest. Friendly staff were helpful, assisting with recommendations for breakfast and dinner within walking distance. The breakfast dining room is being remodelled & is about to re-open, and that will be a... More

I stayed at the hotel in April of 2015. It was a great location, and my room had a skyline view. It was clean, the staff was great, and my room was up to date. There is a conseige (excuse spelling please) in the lobby to help you with "sight seeing" and getting around.Bathroom had beautiful tilework in it. Deli's... More

Stayed on two different occasions and could not be more happy. Great deli across the street as well. Very well priced for a Manhattan stay. First trip with family and second for girls weekend. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Love NYC and Skyline

We stayed here for Five nights and the hotel is well situated for the attractions. We could see the Empire State Building from our room window. It was very basic but clean and tidy. If we were going back we would stay again.. Very noisy at all times of day with traffic. But hey It's NYC!!

We enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. I must admit the exterior is not impressive however once you enter the foyer it is fine. The room/suite for a family of five was spacious. There was free Wi-Fi in the foyer & complimentary coffee and snacks each morning from 7 until 10. The room was clean, had a fridge, a decent... More

This hotel has no food available at all. The receptional staff are not helpful at all. Michael the concierge was great. But the rest left a lot to be desired. Rooms were clean and bed comfy. Just don't ask for any service there, pool has very limited hours. Rooms very hot and stuffy. A/c was pathetic.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in April. We found the hotel very basic, not at all like their website. Very disappointed there wasn't a bar or restaurant, as the pictures on the website imply, or even the opportunity of purchasing tea or coffee in the lounge. The bedroom and bathroom were adequate and clean, towels changed daily,... More

I did you see your dissapointment with the pool hours. We always have had the hours you referred to posted on our web sites and within the hotel. I am sorry it did not meet your needs. Our new restaurant and bar, EL Original, is now open for breakfast and dinner. It is a Tex-Mex cuisine and has had a... More

Me and my partner visited this hotel on Paddy's day 2015 for the week, we booked through Thomas Cook. We arrived around 8pm opened our curtains to us being behind the bent and sign so we couldn't see a thing!! (Even though w rapid extra for a high up room and got put on 2nd!) the room was like a... It is obvious that you did not enjoy the hotel or area the hotel is located. I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations, especially the referrence about the bathroom. I will mention that we have many visitors from Thomas Cook stay here and never had a referrence about the area as you indicated. In fact, the hell... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
