This is a very good mid price hotel in Mid Town, Hells Kitchen. Rooms are quite big and we spend week there. Futhermore it's clean and maids do a great job each day. All other staff are very friendly and helpfull. The location is great, just a few blocks from subway and Times Square. I recommend this highly and would... More

I have seen reviews of this hotel rating it poorly, for me I loved it. Staff were friendly, courteous and nothing was too much trouble. The views of Times Square from my room were beautiful, especially at night (I stayed on the 8th floor) The bed spacious and comfy, plenty of space to unpack my clothes and a decent bathroom.... I always review the hotels I stay at but looking through some of the recent reviews I feel even more obliged to do so this time. Yes, I can't really argue with the factual points that others have made, but, in my opinion, really isn't as bad as others are saying. No, it doesn't give the best first impression and... More

Main points. Rooms - clean but smell like an old vacuum bag and I agree with others that the pictures give a false appeal that isn't a reality. Windows don't look like they've ever been cleaned too. Bath - none its shower only unless you're two feet tall. Bring ear plugs - aircon is VERY noisy and only cools the... More

We stayed here for 4 nights Aug 20-24th, 2015. We loved that the hotel is 3 blocks away from Times Square in a more quiet neighbourhood yet accessible to everything. The room was comfortable and a good size for the 3 of us and very clean. The pool was a nice way to wind down our days. We asked for... More

The pictures on line for this hotel make it look lovely but don't be fooled. It was grubby on the outside with no kerb appeal and inside it was very dated and slightly grubby. The bedding was yellowed and sheets not ironed leaving us unsure as to whether they were fresh. Air con made so much noise we had to... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. Location was great, about 1 mile from Times Square, ie 10 min slowish walk...room was clean and spacious...we had a problem with the toilet not flushing but the staff were friendly and helpful and sorted it quickly for us. Pool on the top floor was a nice addition after a busy day of exploring.... More

I have a love-hate relationship with this hotel, where I have been staying at off and on for the past 13 years when we come for a big trade show. The prices are "New York during a big trade show" prices, which are by no means cheap. But they are not outrageous either. It's just that the rooms are super... More

We visited NYC as part of our East Coast drive and had booked at another hotel in New Jersey. Since we had young kids, we thought of booking a hotel within the city instead of driving daily back to NJ. Booking - I got a deal through Expedia for this hotel and booked for 2 nights (hotel site had a... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
