My husband and two teenage daughters had a fabulous time at the Hotel Elysee last week. This will absolutely be our go to hotel for any future NYC trips. The service was incredible and the continental breakfast and wine and cheese offered in the evenings was such a nice touch! We stayed in a King Suite and it was perfect... More

We always stay here when we are in New York, at least twice a year for weeks at a time. The hotel is consistently superb. The full breakfasts, the quiet living room and the wine and cheese in the evening are included. The staff is more than friendly, they go the extra mile each time. Fresh towels, shampoo, soap and... We stayed at this hotel this past week while celebrating a family event in NYC. My mother always stayed here and my sister and I chose it to celebrate her as she has recently died. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in NYC and this one is by and large the best. The hotel is beautiful and in... More

My sister and I went to NY specifically to visit a relative, some friends, see a play, and go to Ground Zero in Feb. 2015. It was the coldest day in NYC thus far since 1899. The hotel was a warm and welcoming place to come back to everyday. Staff knows who is staying at the hotel and who isn't... More

My wife and I had a junior suite from the 26th December to 2nd January. We loved the hotel and the staff were really friendly. Our suite was a great size with room to move when you consider the New York norm for room sizes. Great location for our purposes too.. Would definitely stay here again, we were very happy.... More

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at the hotel elysee to belatedly celebrate my daughter's birthday and a lovely touch was the bottle of prosecco and chocolates on arrival. I have to agree with other reviewers, this hotel was a real find and characterised by the friendly professionalism of the staff, their 'nothing is too much trouble'... More

My wife and I made a quick weekend trip to the City for Valentine's Day. The Elysee is perfect for a couples getaway. The hotel is small but nicely appointed. The rate was surprisingly good for what you received. It includes breakfast, afternoon tea and cookies, and wine and cheese for "happy hour". The hotel is connected to the Monkey... More

We spent 5 nights at the Elysee hotel Feb 11-16. It was a great experience from the first moment. We arrived in the morning and our room was given to us upon arrival. Our room was spacious and cozy. The location of the hotel is convenient, just a short walk to the subway station and in close proximity to MOMA,... More

Good location, comfortable rooms, very professional and helpful and discreet staff. A great place to stay. Loved the lounge area; great for breakfast, wine and nibbles or just coffee and biscuits. A computer with a printer was also very useful when I needed to print a ticket. The Internet was free and worked well in all areas. Nice to meet... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
