I stayed at this hotel for one week in August. The room was really big for NY standards, had 3 windows, was really bright and nicely furnished. I could even see the Chrysler building from one of the windows. It took me one night to get used to the sirens on the street, but I like city noise so it... More

Maybe I complain too much, but I feel obligated to post my experience, after all if I had read a review like this one I would have been grateful. Ok, so had to book a hotel very last minute, literally hours before rushing out the door for the airport (am always the procrastinator). I didn't have time to do my... More

Arrived at the Hotel earlier than expected and the concierge recommended leaving our luggages with the bellman to be stored until room was available. One of the bellmans, Chris Colon went out of his way for us and gave us the best customer service ever! We were very happy with our stay! The lobby decor was very beautiful and had... More

Great service and friendliness from all the staff throughout the property: front desk, restaurant, room service, doorman, etc. Recently renovated, good location a few blocks from Grand Central station. Definitely stay here again.

We arrived to find that they upgraded our room to a King Suite! Nice! Their breakfast was included in the package it was continental which had limited but a good selection of food. I found their color coded tags on food very helpful for nutritional information. Their location is very good. Approx 20 minutes walking distance to Time Square and... More

Hotel is very nice. Location is excellent and refurbishment since it was Tudor Hotel has made this a very nice Hilton hotel. Unfortunately service standards are very poor (see also review of July 22). Front desk staff are surely and not client oriented at all. My room was not ready until 3:30PM yet they continuously misinformed me of status of... More

I stayed here once before when it was called the 'Tudor' hotel because of the good location. East 42nd street gives easy access to midtown by foot or cab and i can walk or get a taxi easily to any sight, midtown meeting, or the shopping areas. the swanky Helmsley hotel is almost right next door so you know you... I just returned home from a 2 night/3 day stay at this hotel. I arrived on Wed morning well before check-in time and the hotel staff was outstanding and helpful with getting me into a room before noon. While waiting for my room, I had breakfast, a long, leisurely one since I had no where to go. My waiter was... More

We stayed here with our children for a Christmas vacation. The location was great for seeing all the sights, which we did on foot for the most part. Our room was very nice, as was the bathroom --kids loved the tub, and the Bath and Body Works lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and soap were great (Coconut Lime Verbena---smelled great!). It is... More

Fairly typical of a chain of hotels the service is fine if a little impersonal. Small reception that nobody really gathered in and we never ate at the restaurent so couldn't comment on that. The room 1503 was on the corner and very small. It did have windows on two walls from which we could see the east river but... More
