Two blocks from Grand Central, on 42nd St in a quiet area. This hotel is clean, safe, and modern. The staff is curteous and will do anything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Will try staying here everytime I visit NYC from now on.

We had a room with two double beds. The rooms were not huge but was cozy, we had all the amenities that we needed, including a coffee maker. (Latelly it seems hotels are removing their coffemakers!? Nothing like making a cup while you are getting ready.) The people at the hotel were all very nice and overall helpful. The consiege... More

This is an older hotel recently renovated under the Hilton name. As such the rooms and bathroom are fairly small but comfortable, although my mattress could have been firmer. My accommodations were very quiet and clean and seem more ideal for business travelers than tourists. The front staff is competent and friendly enough and there is a restaurant in the... More

Out of the way. Not really near the subway or anything. OK rooms (old hotel, converted). Tiny elevators. It isn't bad but I've stayed in nearly every Hilton in NY and this isn't my favorite. Staff was very pleasant, though, and accomodated us nicely when our room type was not available. Hilton service still good! Anniversary trip with my wife... More

The bathroom smelled, the water pressure was poor, the shade roller fell off and we were tiold at the last minute that it would take 20-30 minutes to retrieve our car, for which we were charged $51 to park. The hotel did agree to waive the parking fee.

This is a pretty good hotel, as everyone says the rooms are smallish but then the hotel is small also. However having stayed in many hotels in New York this is a very quiet hotel, I could hardly hear any noises from outside and I never heard the hotel cleaning staff at all( they can be the noisiest people in... We stayed at this Hilton a few years ago and were extremely happy with the accommodations. So when we planned to visit our daughter in Manhattan we chose to stay here again. We were just as happy on this visit. The hotel is in a great location and the room very comfortable and well designed.

very modern, clean and business oriented hotel. Standard rooms are a bit small. Also, some rooms have a balcony available with great views over the city. we booked one of those but were told upon arrival that they were not accessible due to an inspection of the city authorities. so be sure to get confirmation before booking

The location, the staffs, the cleanliness of the room, overall value is extremely good for anyone not in need of a wi-fi connection. If you need wi-fi connection, the connection this hotel provides if extremely volatile, and often cuts you off.

Attention to detail, even the smallest details make my stay exceptional. It's location afforded access to the UN building, Time Square, Soho, and everything in between. The staff is courteous and attentive making the stay one of the best I've ever experienced.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
