We were very happy with our room and the service provided by the front desk. The walk to Grand Central station was short and you could get any where with a transfer on the subway. One thing I do recommend is a good nyc map with roads and subway it's invaluable. Have fun you won't regret your hotel choice! Oh... more

I wasnt sure what to think when this hotel popped up for me on Priceline but I have to say i was very pleasently surprised. A decent sized room for NY which was extra nice as its was on the corner on a quiet tree lined street. A minor let down was the big bloom on the shower promised much... more

The UN is within easy walking distance. The hotel gives a good location and the price is moderate. However, the service is basic and I felt uneasy that a lift to guest rooms were not easily watched by any staff of the hotel, ie. just next to the entrance before the reception. Otherwise, it is OK and I do not... more

I really liked this hotel. The room was a pretty decent size, especially for NYC. The bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet and didn't have much street noise. The bathroom was a typical hotel bathroom but was clean and big enough to move around in. Service was fast and friendly. We were there during a GA session at... more

Stayed at the Tudor for 4 nights in July 2008, was a fantastic stay, the room had everything it was meant to & looked just like the pictures. The bed was the most comfortable bed I slept in on a 2 month holiday that spanned 3 continents. Everything about this hotel was great, the only drawback for us was the... more

I´m a travel addicted and I do like to stay in very good hotels. NY is an expensive city and I were afraid when I booked Tudor Hotel, however, it become a very nice surprise! The hotel is located on 42nd just 5 minutes walking from Chrysler Building and Grand Central Station. It´s very easy to walk from the hotel... more

The Tudor hotel is certainly not the hotel for those who like big brand name hotels. Even the holiday inn is better than the Tudor. The Tudor is a decent place to crash if you need a clean bed in a quiet hotel, but the little details that make a hotel stay enjoyable and luxurious are seriously lacking in this... more

Stayed there for 6 days at the end of May 2009. Pleasantly surprised at the high standard of the rooms. The Hotel has recently been refurbished. Good location, 5 mins to Grand Central Terminal. more

I satyed for 5 nights, The room was small, but expected... The staff was unhelpful, short and unfriendly!! Phone didn't work (not a biggy unless U need to call for services etc). Location was not as great as reviews had talked about either! Pillows were small yet FAT - not comfy at all, my neck was stiff every morning. I... more

We stayed at this hotel twice during our mini-tour of the US. The hotel was about a 5 minute walk from Grand Central Station and provided a great base for us to explore New York. Rooms were clean but not that spacious. Would definitely recommend if you don't mind walking. more
