The hotel is easy to find if you go in and out of Grand Central. Leave through the 42nd St. exit, turn left, go three blocks, cross the street, and check in. Too close for a cab. One problem was getting cabs from there without luggage... they prefer to go down the street and maybe get a Grand Central person... More

After a lot of research I booked this hotel for mine and my girlfriend's first ever trip to New York. The hotel is very important to us so we wanted to make sure it was right. We paid just under £1600 for both of us for flights and accommodation from the UK which is about average. On arriving at the... More

This hotel is in a fantastic location in midtown Manhattan. You are about: - 1 block west of the UN building - 30 minute walk from the East Village - 10 minute walk down 42nd street from Times Square - a few blocks away from Grand Central Station - about a 20 minute walk from Penn Station Everything else is... Stayed in room 703 for three nights in May. This room is in the south tower, and there are only about 4 rooms per floor, and with a slightly alternative layout... The room was very small, but still had all of the things you needed - with the exception of a bedside table on both sides of the bed (there... More

The hotel was cozy, the room was small but who would want to hang out in a hotel room in the heart of New York?! Room was clean and well maintained. The staff friendly. Good location and walking distance from time Square.

The Hilton Manhatten East is very clean, has a really nice bed, and it's close to Grand Central Station. We had a drinks in the bar, and although pricey (or maybe average for Manhatten), they were good. Hilton charges for WiFi, although there was a free AT&T WiFi signal. They also charge to print out airline boarding passes, so not... More

Went here for a weekend getaway in May 2011. Property was very average... a bit tired and old looking The room is clean but not much. The amenities in the bathroom are not good at all for a Hilton hotel. I expected more. Service was just okay Location is pretty good as it is close to Grand Central Station so... More

We usually try to stay at Hilton hotels while traveling as we like the comfort & the perks with being Hilton honor members. This hotel was no different. Clean rooms, comfy beds. With our membership, we were offered free daily breakfast, or 2 free drinks a the bar each. We opted for the breakfast since the bar closes early (11pm).... More

The Hilton Manhattan East is beautiful with lots of old touches. The lobby is small, but there is an atmosphere around its days as the Tudor. There are lots of quirks (small elevators, small hallways, small conference facilities), so if you're a business traveler used to the Hilton brand, this probably isn't the place for you. The front desk staff... More

We visited Hilton Manhattan East during New Year's time this year for 3 nights. We were upgraded to executive room due to hilton hhonors status. The hotel is on a decent location, a bit far from attractions and there isn't a lot going on in the neighborhood. Grand central is nearby so you can travel with relative ease around manhattan...
