The staff was great! Shenickwa, Kevin, and Chafiq were instrumental in helping me recover my iPad that I forgot. I had gotten all the way to the airport and then had to rush back to grab it and rush back to the airport to make my flight. They quickly found it and had it waiting for me when I frantically... We normally stay in the Time Square Area but this hotel is located on the East side which is a lot less crowded. Close enough to walk to Times Square but far enough away where you are not wall to wall people. The hotel has a great feel the moment you walk in. The staff is very friendly. The rooms... More

Staff was all excellent and everyone was friendly and tried hard to create a pleasant stay, however the facility itself is beyond it's design life and does not offer the full amenities or quality of a Hilton; - Musty smell in bathroom didn't go away and is due to ventilation problems - NOT housekeeping as the room was immaculately clean.... Though only 5 blocks from Times Square, the property & locale presents a different setting than the hustle & bustle down the street. A check-in snafu that was not properly handled by other staff (4 PM check-in not ready 'til 6 PM) was quickly corrected by Tess the following morning without prompting. Class act! I wish, however, she could also... More

Dear Phillip E, I want to personally thank you for taking the time to send in your review of our property. It was shocking to read that there was an incident at check-in that caused such a big delay and I will have my Front Office team look into the matter to see what happened. I am however very happy... Rooms are small, good rate. Clean, this room had NO view except two walls. Previous rooms had not bad views. They were booked to the hilt, so no chance for me to switch rooms. staff were good. Breakfast on the run was good, easy to grab.

For the price of 300+ bucks a night, this hotel is way too shabby. Broken, patched up lock on the door, a duvet that looks like it is about to come alive when held up against the light - dried up brown patches of what used to be dawn. Very accommodating staff and grumpy housekeeping. Looks like they are under... More

It is my sixth or seventh time at this hotel either for business or pleasure and I must say I am always satisfied mostly because of the professionalism of the reception and bell staff and also because of the location if you have to take a plane from La Guardia.

This was a clean and comfortable hotel with excellent service. The room was not very big but it was all that I needed. No fine dining in the hotel and the cafe didn't open until 7 which was a bummer since I was there on business. I would recommend this hotel despite that.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
