This was my third stay, but never again. We were on the 7th floor and they hadn't started remodeling the rooms yet. The décor was old as were the TV's, but the biggest surprise was the cockroach on the lamp next to the bed. They were able to accommodate us by giving us another room on the 4th floor that... More

Great spot to stay on a budget. Not somewhere to stay in your room for long periods, but who does that in New York anyway! Some of the rooms are a bit dated, but that was expected as per the reviews. The cost of wi-fi was a bit bit pricey, particularly if you want it to apply to several devices,... More

We asked to be moved and they said no rooms available, dying of heat all night. And worse....no wifi so no iPad streaming. The room is tiny, were on the 12th floor which is fine. Biggest problem is a broken ac, for what we pay it's ridiculous that I'm awake at 5am because I'm dying of heat.

We only stayed 2 nights, but this was a great pick. Walking distance to Empire State Building, Penn Station, Times Square and Macy's. The room was small & quite old, with no views from the windows. The bathroom was tiny, but everything was clean, and we were only going to be at the hotel to sleep. The staff were very... More

Quite a convenient location. At night a lot of young Koreans come out as the area is close to Manhattan's Koreatown, the block of 32nd street between 5th and 6th Ave. During the day, Dunkin Donuts and Subway are close by. Very easy to get around. The building is historic and pleasant to the eyes, and the walls block out... More

Me and my son spend 4 nights here. We really liked the hotel and especially the great location. Would visit it again. The hotel is location two blocks from the empire state and everything you need is at a ten minute walk max.

The Wolcott Hotel offers a fair rate for the location and amenities provided. Rooms are clean, air conditioned and relatively spacious. A highlight, which we really appreciated, were the complimentary (and remarkably fresh) muffins and coffee on offer in the lobby at breakfast time. Whereas it wouldn't be a hotel for a long romantic lie in, it would definitely serve... More
