I chose this hotel because the price was extraordinarily reasonable for New York and it was conveniently located near my business venue. I visit New York City on business frequently and have stayed at a variety of hotels in the City. The Hampton Inn Soho was one of the best experiences I have had. First, the room was quite comfortable... More

I stayed here for 3 nights while on business in Soho. The hotel location is on a side street that connects with the Holland Tunnel - so, during rush hours it's quite noisy and congested. I recommend a room on the side away from the street and a higher floor. The gym and other facilities were fine. Breakfast is convinent,... More

I usually stay on the west side but I was in the area and decided to stay near Soho area. I only stayed in the hotel one night, The Hampton Inn served its purpose! Close proximity to everything and the hotel offeres free breakfast in the morning (I did not partake) I loved the fact that the hotel arranged for... More

What a great hotel. Perfect location to all sites and restaurants within walking distance The hotel rooms were small but expected for the SoHo district. They were well put together. The complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good.

My main problem with this hotel is that the bathrooms are old and filthy. There is white film all over the stalls, and brown gunk around the corners of the shower. The rooms and hallways are also quite depressing. The location is very good though.

I had to book a room because the accommodations we made were unacceptable. At the last moment I found this hotel in the heart of downtown. It was all that I expected in terms of location, and cleanliness. The free breakfast is quite tasty.

Excellent Front Desk staff and service throughout. Great location: 2-3 blocks from NY Subway; easy walking to China Town, Little Italy, Federal Plaza, heart of SOHO.Can walk to Freedom Tower in about 30 minutes. Rooms are typical size for NYC (a little small). Recommend using a car service or cab to get there as parking is 3 blocks away and... More

This hotel is a couple blocks from one of my employer's offices, so I stay here frequently. It is quite nice for a Hampton Inn, with comfortable beds, pleasant staff, a better-than-average fitness room, and a lovely roof deck. The price during the summer can be completely over the top for a pretty standard chain hotel, however. About the only... More

I've stayed at this hotel the last three times I've been to New York because of these factors: 1. Clean, relatively spacious rooms (NY standards) 2. Short, easy walk to shopping and dining in SoHo and the Angelika. 3. Close to the A, C, E and 1 subway lines 4. Rooftop terrace 5. Free breakfast Rooms facing Watts (even numbers,... More

Spent 6 days and enjoyed my stay. Room was well organized, nice view up on 12th floor overlooking the garden roof of the neighboring bldg. showers nice and good water pressure even in morning. Liked the location as it was close to Brooklyn and easy metro to uptown.
