I can't fault the hotel or the attentiveness of the staff. We visited in July for 4 nights on our honeymoon and we had a fantastic time. You are a 30 second walk from 5th Avenue and about 1 minute's walk to Central Park. The rooms were spacious, modern and very comfortable. We had breakfast each morning in the hotel... More

Nine night stay here in a 1 Bed Deluxe Suite and all very good. * Clean and spacious apartment with bed, lounge, bathroom and kitchen areas. * Top quality service from the front desk, maintenance staff (minor issue with bath sink) through to housekeeping. * Prime location, close to everything. We paid that little bit extra being NYC but well... More

This hotel is our favorite place to stay in New York City. Close to the park, shopping, and museums, it also has the most amazing fitness room ever. The furnishings are sleek and modern. Everything is maintained in pristine condition. The coffee at the restaurant is something to wake up for!

We stayed for our first week in New York before moving to the next hotel. Location by Central Park was superb. Great staff and service as well. We were a little disappointed that the washing machine did not work in our room and we had to use the communal laundry room however it really did not matter overall. Would definitely... More

The AKA Central Park is in a great location on West 58th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues. The hotel offers one bedrooms suites with full kitchens and studios with a small kitchen. The hotel has an inviting café for breakfast and lunch, a cozy bar, small workout area and business center. The location is ideal for taking the subway,... More

We have stayed many places in Manhattan and found AKA Central Park to be one of the better choices. It is in a nice new building between 5th and 6th. The junior executive suite was spacious (for NYC) and complete with a kitchenette. The two large walk-in closets were nice but the space could have been better used in the... More

We stayed at the AKA the first week of June, in a deluxe 1 bedroom. We chose AKA as we prefer to have a separate living area - one of us gets up very early and it is nice to have a place to work/watch tv while the other is still sleeping. Our first room was on the 4th floor... More

Stayed here for 7 nights. Great location to be based when visiting the city, 2 mins from Central Park & 5th Avenue. First class service from the staff at the front desk. Had the 1 bedroom suite which was great, really spacious. Hotel itself was quiet, but a bit of noise from the street, but being in central Manhattan should... More

I lived here two nights and the only thing is good to me is the location, 2 mins by walking to Central Park and 5th ave is steps away, the room size is very big, it's bigger than normal manhattan 1 bedroom apartment, so, I think the size worths the fare, it's about $550/ night after the tax, however, the... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
