Recently, I planned a cocktail reception in the lobby bar, and hosted a sleeping room block. During the planning process, the staff was responsive and very accommodating/flexible. Onsite executive was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to service our group. Pricing is extremely reasonable. And, I would highly recommend this hotel to another corporate group.

This hotel ticked all the boxes with it being in a central location for us to spend 5 nights in Manhattan. The rooms were nice, clean and a decent size compared to other hotels I've stayed in in NYC. The staff were extremely helpful and polite and couldn't do enough to make our stay a good one. We ate breakfast... More

The Roger is a sixteen stories hotel located near the Empire State building. Although the hotel is small the experience was great. We are lucky enough to stay in one of their penthouse with access to balconies, and our room size was decent for downtown Manhattan. The room was very clean and all the needed comfort. The staff was very... More

the Roger is a great hotel with a central midtown location. The evening wine reception is excellent with a friendly staff. The location can't be beat, close to almost everything.. Great little workout room right next to the restaurant.

After an exhaustive search - we chose the Roger hotel to celebrate an intimate wedding ceremony in a penthouse room with balcony. When i first entered the Hotel a few weeks early, i knew it was going to be at the top of the list. The actual space exceeds the quality that the photos show- and in retrospect - it... More

Very friendly staff, happy to help with anything. Good location for exploring NYC. Happy hour a super idea - why don't more hotels do this? High ceilinged lobby with painted bricks and lots of photos and comfy sofas, very welcoming. Great breakfast.

We stayed at the Roger for 5 nights in May 2015 whilst visiting the city for the first time. Having booked through Mr and Mrs Smith about 6 months previously (and having completed lots of research) we managed to secure a very good deal. On arrival at the Roger after a 10.30 flight to JFK our bags were sorted before... More

The Roger Hotel is quaint, great staff and the location can't be beat. The room is small even by New York standards; just room for a bed, finding space for my suitcase was even a challenge. Working at the desk and watching the ball game, couldn't be done. Choose one. If you don't plan on spending any time in your... More

We stayed here recently for four nights, great place to stay. We were fortunate enough to have a room in the penthouse which had a terrace looking up at the Empire State Building. We could sit outside and sip some wine and eat some nibbles after a hard days shopping. Absolutely perfect, professional staff and very attentive and perfect location.

Stayed here with my Husband last week. Loved the room, ask for a quiet side or back room up high as al rooms on Mad Avenue can be street noisy. Rooms were recently re done so they are nice. Location is fantastic. Close to Herald Square, Penn Station and Park Ave and the 6 train. You can walk everywhere. One... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
