Roger was welcoming and cute. It is a small boutique hotel in an excellent location in midtown manhattan and easy to get to from JFK airport. We had a lovely quiet room on 14th floor and just the right size as we were out most of the time. The hotel bar was excellent and overall the service and friendliness of... More

We spent a long time trying to find the right place amongst the vast choice of hotels travelling from UK for 5 nights in New York. We were really pleased with our stay. This is a small stylish place Central for all the sightseeing you would need. We didn't book breakfast though you could get a take out coffee for... More

Don't be put off by my title. I simply had a meeting in the lobby area of the hotel. Fair amount of people traffic, but quiet, so to have a business there was comfortable and practical. You can access free Internet in the lobby which helped during the meeting. Much better than a noisy coffee shop.

The room was wonderful by New York Standards, large enough and a large bathroom. The best thing by far, is the wonderful bed, which was impossible to tear ourselves out of in the morning. I felt the extra fees were not necessary, and the hotel was crowded at this time. But overall, the location was great, the street noise non... More

When I found this hotel, I was absolutely thrilled they had availability. When we arrived it was before check in time, but, we needed to leave to catch a show on Broadway. The staff was very kind and held our bags for us, no questions asked. When we returned they asked about the show and were just all around kind.... More

I was traveling to NYC on business and the company that flew me out there also booked me this hotel. First impressions are good- modern lobby, free wine in the evening, small bar and lounge area- but it went downhill from there. The first room I stayed in had a horrible odor to it. We couldn't get the window to... More

We had another wonderful trip to NY. After enjoyable previous stays at The Roger, we returned for a mini-Family Reunion/Girls weekend. The rooms were awesome and the staff is always friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back again and again!

We were in NYC for one night only to see a show - 1 adult & 2 teens. Found The Roger using Hotel Tonight for a good rate. We were very pleasantly surprised. The staff were all very helpful and friendly (got some great college info from one of the staff whose daughter has the same fashion passion as one... More

Husband and I decided on a last minute trip to NYC and used our hotel tonight app for the first time. For this caliber hotel, completely worth it with that app. We got our room for $179 for a night (going rate was $329 plus tax and fees)!!! The staff was nice and friendly. The room was clean, modern chic,... More

It was our first trip to New York and we couldn't have asked for a better location. It was a fairly quick taxi ride fro JFK airport, but the best thing for me was it was just two short blocks away from the Empire State and all the shops. When booking the hotel I did request a twin room, but... More
