I wanted to like this place, especially walking into the bright lobby with the reclaimed wood floor and nice vibe. But the room we stayed in was very dark, and boring. The lighting never got bright, the bathroom was small with no counter space in the sink, and it was just boring. I expected a lot more for the price... More

Great location for all attractions shops and restaurants. The friendly helpful staff made the trip for us! Nothing was too much trouble, an excellent team. The hotel was comfortable relaxed and very clean. Perfect for a city break.

Loved this hotel. A great value for the rate given the exceptional service, tasteful decor, comfortable beds and good food in the Parlor. While the bathrooms are very small, they are well designed. Great location within the fashion and design district as well.

I like this area because it's easy to get uptown and downtown. The ride from LGA is super fast and the area is pretty quiet most of the time. Our room was a king room on the 11th floor. The beds are so comfy I couldn't wait to get back to our room every afternoon for a nap. Yes, the... More

The Hotel is in the avarage style and confort. The good thing is that this hotel is just behind the 5th avenue in Midtown. No breakfast inlcuded, as usually in NY. The Service is good and room are clean.

This is a great centrally located hotel .I stayed the Roger 3 nights on business trip. It is located near grand central station and Empire State Building and shopping. It's also very close to Madison Square Garden, Penn Station, Macy's and Times Square. The rooms are small but luxurious.

I moved from a 2 bedroom apartment in NYC with colleagues to The Roger when our party of 4 reduced to 2 and we thought lets get a little more luxury as we do not need so much space. The Roger has an excellent location..... minutes away from transport and attractions. It has a cosy boutque feel to it and... More

This is a great centrally located hotel that allows you to walk to many attractions in all directions. Within half an hour's walk you can be at Central Park, Moma, SoHo, or the Flat Iron district. It's also very close to Madison Square Garden, Penn Station, Macy's and Times Square. The rooms are small but luxurious. The beds are comfortable.... More

I stayed the Roger 2 nights on business trip. It is located near grand central station and Empire State Building so I was able to go MOMA and Central Park by walk. I was able to sleep very well though I went around from early morning to late night cause of a cozy bed. However, I was very upset and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
