Stayed here for a couple of days to see New York at Christmas. A nice hotel that is well located for most of the sights. The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. Staff were helpful and the mulled cider a nice touch each afternoon. Could perhaps have done with a bit more seating around the bar... More

Boutique hotel in excellent location for spending time in Manhattan. Even the terrible weather and a broken boiler and consequent no hot water for part of our 4 day stay could detract from my recommendation. Good size rooms for New York. Helpful staff ( excellent Italian restaurant recommendation). Interesting breakfast area gives you a sense of the New York experience.... More

Everything about this hotel is excellent: Great location (it's two blocks from the Empire State building), amazing staff, relaxing atmosphere, great bar, lovely breakfast, sumptuous rooms, luxurious surroundings. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel welcome and at home. Every single time we met any of the staff - house keeping, main desk, lobby, bar, door -... More

This hotel takes you away from the hustle and bustle this city swallows you up in. Once you step in, all seems to slow down, get quiet and allows you to unwind and recharge. All the little intricacies this hotel has to offer are numerous, thought out and valuable to each client. The rooms allow you to rest and sleep... More

We found the room and bathroom to be typical size by New York standards, and very comfortable. What made our stay stand out were the little touches like the complimentary glass of wine at cocktail hour, the comfortable lobby, the fact that there was a restaurant and bar on the premises, and mostly, the excellent and friendly service. Upon check-in,... More

Very nicely decorated, QUIET for a NY hotel, not too small, very nice amenities and very nice staff. Would go back in a heart beat as it is located right next to my office when I travel to NY for work. Loved it!

I stayed in this hotel while in town on business several times. As a woman alone, I never felt unsafe. The hotel is clean, the staff is especially friendly and helpful. The breakfast is pretty decent for the price. I really liked the decor -- it was updated and modern. Saw lots of younger people at the hotel -- seems... More

The hotel is very clean and well done and is a good deal if you pay the last minute price. Although our room was near the stairwell and was noisy late into the evening, the place itself was quite quiet. Great location

Terrific location and loads of great places to eat and drink in the area, but room was not as special as I had hoped from the photos (could have done with some artwork, bathroom.teeny tiny and blind pelmet missing). Common areas are beautiful, lifts are quite slow. Weekend self-serve brunch was great, but pricey. Staff were very friendly and helpful,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
