I was recently in New York and stayed 1 night at the Roger. They hotel is in a great position, allowing it to be out of the main hustle and bustle of Midtown but still be close enough to walk to all the main attractions. We stayed in a Premier room with 2 double beds, the room was well appointed... More

Stayed here for a full week as A romantic getaway. Hotel is really nice and the rooms are great. We found the location to be great since as tourist you want to move around the city as much as possible. Hotel located mid turned out to be a great hub both going up town or down town. Hotel is also... More

The rooms were clean and spacious. The neighborhood felt safe and was convenient for our stay. Easy atmosphere and friendly staff. Small but offered everything we needed. It's easy to over pay and be disappointed in the city but the Roger was a perfect balance of price and quality. My mother and daughter were both vet happy with our stay... More

I found this hotel on Hotel Tonight which listed a awesome price! I then proceeded of course to read the reviews on tripadvisor to make sure I was not about to book a horrible hotel. Upon arrival I noticed that there was no visible sign to locate the hotel so I got a little turned around until I remembered from... More

The Roger is in the most excellent position. Just 2 blocks from the Empire State. We were lucky to get a room which afforded a view of the iconic building. The staff are very friendly. A slight mishap with ordering a taxi was soon rectified. The room was small, as you would expect in a big city, but the bathroom... More

I stayed at the Roger 2 years ago and truly enjoyed it, but my experience was not the same. There was no bellman to help with my luggage while I waited outside. The first room I was given had a broken sink that leaked water on the floor and a noisy toilet that was beyond annoying. The hotel changed my... More

The Roger offers outstanding service in a brilliant Manhattan location for landmarks and other popular sights. Stunning, clean and quiet room with a very comfortable large double bed. Warm cider was served in the lobby to take the chill out of your January bones and a free wine tasting takes place in bar every night. Excellent breakfast and handsome, tastefully... More

Wonderful boutique hotel in the middle of everything.Walking distance to most things and a simple uber ride to everything. One thing breakfast is way expensive there is a fabulous deli across the street with wonderful freshly made meals for a very reasonable amount. I would recommend this hotel .It has a small bar and a fitness. ctr. Staff is very helpful... More

We visited The Roger on 4th July weekend for 7 nights. We picked the hotel because of the great location - close to the Empire State Building and not far from Grand Central Station (10 blocks) and we always try to stay in a different neighbourhood when we visit NYC (8th visit). The hotel is on Madison and E31st Street... More

Stayed at the Roger overnight only. Staff are 5* helpful and polite. Bedroom was a good size for NYC with a large double bed which was extremely comfortable (particularly for a lady with a bad back). Bathroom was very small and cramped, but was finished to a high standard - the basin was tiny. Would I stay again? Yes, but... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
