Stayed at the roger for 3 nights with my fiancée. The staff were very pleasant and always happy to help. Like all hotels in New York space is at a premium and you can feel this. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and we were on the 9th floor with quite a spacious a room, the bathroom was tiny... More

I've stayed here twice now and quite like it. Staff is super friendly and the hotel has a nice cozy boutique feel to it. Rooms are a bit small but hey, that's NYC. Bathroom is also a bit small but enough room for me. The best part is the free wine hour from 5-6, a great way to unwind. Location... More

very dissapointed in this hotel. The first room we were given was freezing cold, the second one tiny and the third with tiny wc. We had to pay extra 26 dollars per day for wifi and other undefined things .And all that in our honey moon. The staff was kind.

This is a very good hotel. I stayed here because it was close to where my daughter lives, otherwise I would have stayed in a hotel with a better location. The rooms are good, but lighting was very poor. Bed very comfortable. Television was HD which is normal in most hotels in NY but rare in Miami. Internet is free... More

I love the The Roger. The breakfast and happy our are so welcoming to visitors. The room are fantastic, especially by NYC standards, and the front desk is always helpful. The nightly happy hour is a great way to meet other visitors.

The Roger has lovely decor, a nice reception and bar area and the staff seem very friendly. The floors are nicely decorated and my room was in good decorative order too, and very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable - not the usual hard offering from many hotels. There were also lots of plug sockets which is always a... More

Highly recommended hotel, close to everything. Allowed me to check in early at around 8:30AM which in my opinion was a huge plus. Very clean rooms and probably the most comfortable bed I have slept in a hotel

We did a two nights staycation here and it was overall a nice experience. The staff was very nice and helpful and the room was clean and had everything we needed. Our request to have a room in the upper levels of the building, far away from the elevator (noise) was met. Some drawbacks: - The fitness center was small,... More

There's something decadent about being a former New Yorker and booking a hotel in the city. That is what we did for Christmas eve, to spend it with family, rather than drive back. I heard about this little boutique from Jetsetter, and, promptly, booked it. This area off Madison and 31st is quiet; a HUGE benefit in Manhattan, if you... More

I took my husband here for his birthday. We had stayed in New Jersey the last time we visited NY and it was far better value; cheaper and the room was much bigger (Westin). This hotel, however, was quirky and had a good feel to it. The staff were great and their complimentary tea and wine hour were an added... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
