Classy, well situated hotel in new York. Stayed here for one night on business and was very pleased. The front desk was friendly and helpful, and the room was large and spacious, with a well appointed bathroom. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Was concerned due to extensive lobby construction but room was clean and recently remodeled, and most importantly, quiet on 11th floor. Staff seemed to go out of their way to be friendly given the disruption. Bathroom tiny but functional, very good for price in nyc if you need to be in this part of town.

I stayed at this hotel a couple of days ago and it has been a nightmare ever since. If you can get away without giving them your credit card for incidentals, then I advise you to do so. From now on, I will never give my credit card again at any hotel for incidentals. First of all, they put a... More

I stayed at the Hotel Roger Williams May 5-8, 2012 with friends. The location was great and we had a nice, newly renovated room. The hotel was still undergoing renovations so the restaurant was closed and the lobby rather crowded but this did not cause us any real inconvenience. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nicely decorated and... More

We stayed at the Roger Williams for the second time last weekend, and found that the lobby is being renovated. While this made the lobby a bit claustrophobic, service was still pleasant and helpful and our room was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The wi-fi worked well. It's true that elevator service can be a bit slow and/or crowded, but we... More

This is not a 4 star property. This was my fourth and last time staying at this hotel. The lobby was under construction so no place to sit, meet, mingle etc. outside of your room. I was in NY on business and needed a place to meet with clients. The hotel staff suggested I go to another hotel if I... More

I had a beautifully decorated and furnished penthouse room with a great view of the Empire State Building. The room was quite gloomy with only wall lights/lamps. This seems to be a trend in contemporary hotels nowadays. The bed was huge, and amazingly comfortable. Plenty of power points and fast, free wifi. The bathroom was quite small and I had... More

We booked a Superior room with 2 beds, but were "put" in a small room with 1 bed only and no wardrobe to store our stuff in. The Manager offered free breakfast as compensation and to waive the "resort fee". Breakfast was a joke, since it was a "To-Go" version at the check-in desk. After we had checked out, I... More

Stayed there a year ago for an early Valentines Day with my fiance. Our package included a 50.00 voucher to use at the lounge which we took advantage of for a drink or two after our day of travels. Room was spacious. Downfall was the heating system kept turning on...Was like a sauna. Stay was nice though and service was... More
