This hotel is my only choice for a New York stay because from when I check in to when I check out I feel welcomed and at home. It is a little old world but that is what makes it classy. I never feel like a nameless visitor being "customer serviced" as quickly as possible. The staff is efficient, accomodating... More

My experience at the hotel has left me with a special memory. Randy Alan Ogoff treated me with a special touch that felt like I was a long lost member of the family. When I told him it was a special occasion he offered me an upgrade . The room was amazing. The hotel was charming with a true touch... More

Stay in this hotel has left inconsistent memoirs. Rooms are beautifully decorated, but in the winter in them is very cold. Heaters work badly. The hotel personnel as a whole is friendly, but some workers talk to visitors very roughly. In particular receptionist Mr Randy alan Ogoff it is very rough, unfriendly, dares to offend visitors, often pretends that doesn't... More

the hotel is a boutique style hotel, the rooms are full of old furniture so you have the feeling to go back in the past, which is quite cozy. The room was certainly big enough, we had a twin bedded room with 2 bigs, great comfy beds! the bathroom is spaciois as well and all furniture from the past is... More

It is not my first time at that hotel, and I have to say that it is my house in New York. I don´t know what to remark: the staff, the tratment, the location.... Everything is perfect!! Well, what makes it perfect is the personnel....FANTASTIC!!! Thank you for everything!! Alfonso Madrid More

I thought at the price this place would be a dump, but it was lovely! Room was clean and well-appointed, bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable, staff was warm and friendly. Location was perfect for my purposes. Good breakfast in their restaurant. I look forward to staying there again. More

Excellent location to explore New York, right in mid town Manhattan. Great value for a hotel in this range. I sometimes find that New York 'boutique' style hotels are not that clean and something is always falling apart. Not the case here. Bathroom was working fine and it was clean. The bed was comfortable, I had no problems falling asleep... More

Positive: GREAT location---walking distance to Times Square, Empire State Blg., American Girl Doll Store, etc., etc. Beds very comfortable. Rooms very clean. Staff very helpful & friendly---they go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Affordable rates. Negative: Rooms on the small side---if you have kids, definitely upgrade to jr suite; TV channels not kid-friendly. More

A nice, little and totally non-pretentious (don't take the 'boutique hotel' thing to seriously) hotel in mid-east Manhattan. Not many facilities (like fitness or room service, and they charge a dollar for a print-out) but all in all a good, uneventful stay. Breakfast pretty good and at a nice place, overseeing Lexington Avenue. Room not very well cleaned at all... More

The hotel is located in a great area on the corner of 47th and Lexington Ave. It's close to Rock Center, a quick 15 minute walk to the theater district and an easy walk to a couple of subway stops. So here's the issue with the RS Hotel. The rooms are tidy, not dirty but not super clean. It was... More
