My wife and I have stayed in the Spa Suite for a number of years now, each year as my "birthday present." Its a great present! The spacious jacuzzi lets you soak weary bones, or spice up the romance. The room is immaculate, the facilities always work, and the staff gives you the "personal touch," making guests feel like they've... More

Stayed in ground floor Opera suite. Suite was spacious and had everything we could ask. Was greeted with beautiful flower bouquet, cake, full fridge, and plenty of snacks and wine + breakfast; all as part of the package. We made good use of the kitchen and the bedroom fireplace. Stayed for Valentine's Day weekend and ordered in for dinner because... More

Fantastic stay in the Opera Suite. Very kind and hospitable hostess who takes care of your every need, really making you feel at home. It is just a short walk to Central Park and a very short walk to The Beacon Theater where we attended a concert. We like to sleep late and a very late check out was also... More

We had a fantastic stay in the Library Suite with our two children. There was loads of space for all of us and we really felt like it was a home away from home. The Brownstone is full of old city charm and Elyn could not have made us feel more welcome. The apartment is remarkably peaceful, quiet and calm... More

I am, by my own admission, a little OCD when it comes to looking for accommodation for our travels abroad. I spend hours comparing location, room size, reviews etc... so I was getting a little despondent looking at all the small, featureless hotel rooms available in NYC. My wife and I always look for a place to rest after a... More

If you're looking for a unique say in NYC that you can't find at any other hotel you should check out the Inn New York City. We have stayed in the Vermont suite twice, it is two floors (all yours) with a private entrance/exit. It's very well kept with beautiful decor and stocked with wonderful snacks. The UWS neighborhood it... More

My husband and I spent a weekend in the Spa Room this past December. If we hadn't already purchased tickets to several shows, I doubt we would have left the room all weekend. What a beautiful place! The oversized spa tub next to the fireplace was nothing short of incredible. We were spoiled with the scrumptious breakfast pastries, fruit basket,... More

We stayed here during Thanksgiving weekend. The location is great - near everything. The people who run it are very nice and helpful. Anything you need or want, they get! We stayed in the Opera Suite - really cozy and fun. The pull out couch accommodated my adult son and the three of us really enjoyed our time. The only... More

Since my family lives in the city, I have not had the opportunity to actually stay in a hotel there, until now. And what a brilliant home from home. Impeccable, pristine, characterful and beautifully appointed - in a brilliant location too. The Opera Suite had a brilliant terrace and a baby grand piano - absolutely faultless. Having said that, it... More

What a wonderful place! Stayed first night in Spa Suite and rest of stay in Library. Both comfortable but preferred Library - more room and bedroom is in back of building so less street noise. But for either, the accommodations are wonderful - comfortable, cozy, beautifully decorated and maintained, and can't say enough about Elyn, Ruth, Robin and housekeeping staff... More
