Well located, friendly staff, the bathroom outside the room wasn't a problem at all! Overall it was a great place to stay! The room is small and the air conditioner loud, but the benefits overcome these problems. The staff help with your luggage and the chelsea area is amazing!

My experience here was so-so and it's taken me awhile to write this review. I've concluded that I'm too old to share a bathroom and that I need more space. The back corner room was tiny with a twin bed, sink, shower, mini T.V. and little room to move. The shared bathroom was inconvenient in the middle of the night.... More

Loved this place! Great location, close to subway, Chelsea Market, and the Highline. Price was extremely reasonable. Felt like I was at home. I will definitely stay here again. The staff was very kind. Everything was clean and tidy. The kitschy decor made it cute and eclectic.

My son and I stayed there for night while sightseeing in New York. I was a bit skeptical at first, not knowing the city, but was pleasantly surprised how nice the Chelsea Lodge was! The owner was very nice and helpful. We had the downstairs room with a small kitchen and private bathroom. I would definitely recommend it - well... More

The Chelsea Lodge is a cute mix between a B&B and a hostel. It does offer showers in each room, which is nice, but floors share bathrooms, which is awkward if you need to pee in the middle of the night. The bed was not very comfortable. It was kind of hard, but it we were just happy to have... More

We booked the Chelsea Lodge because it seemed like the best value for money we could get as far as accommodation goes in NY. We found the location really convenient- short walk to heaps of food places, subway, shops etc. With the subway there it's very easy to see NY. The lodge itself was safe, tidy, and value for money.... More

By Manhattan standards, this hotel is a bargain. The rooms are clean and attractive in a quaint way. Currier and Ives prints on the wall, sink and shower in the room. Having a toilet in the hall was not a big inconvenience. The hotel is very clean and genteel inside, with antique photos on the walls, and a small sitting... More

Lovely place, the effort put into this b&b is wonderful.Shared bathroom ... not to worry, you do have your own shower and basin toilets only shared with one other room.We wish we had more time to spend here.Gives one a real feel of N Y C living. Yery efficient and helpful. Quote when our bad of 30 kgs had to... More

I really enjoyed my time at the Chelsea Lodge. The room was clean and well-designed, and I appreciated that there were two toilets on my floor as well as a spiffy in-room shower. I'm from the midwest suburbs, so I did think that it was noisy to have a room facing the street, but that's probably just me. There was... More
