was very paranoid about staying in the city as heard many complaints about hotels being filthy, cannot say anything about this one. I cannot stay in a dirty room, and mine was very clean. From when we walked in we were happy, as the lobby to the room had a very modern feel to it. The location was incredible and... More

We stayed one night, and it was close to everything we wanted to see. It was $260. Not a great hotel, but fine enough for the price. The room was tiny, but we just went back to sleep there. We spent no time in the hotel. The elavators are slow. I found the staff rude. However, I am from the... More

We were in a street side King on the fourth floor. Very Noisy; couldn't sleep well. Asked for another room, were put into a smaller room on the inside. Needed paint badly, incredibly small (could barely open dresser drawers as they bumped into bed). Had to be careful getting in the shower to avoid large waste basket that wouldn't fit... More

I have used tripadvisor a number of times to see reviews for cruises and hotels. This is my first time I've actually taken the time to write a review. Our stay was the best weekend my husband and I have had in a long time!!! The weather was fabulous and the hotel helped to make the trip wonderful. The service... More

We booked this hotel as it was in close proximity to the Times Square where we had booked to see a show. We were Immediately pleased not just by how lovely the hotel looked but by the service we recieved, the receptionist who checked us in was extremely polite and very friendly, he informed us of all infomation we inquired... This hotel couln't put you in a better location for the money. One block from Times Square. Room was typical size for a downtown NYC hotel room, noise from street was to be expected (you are in NYC, near Times Square, what do you expect?) However, the room was filthy! Stains on the sheets, walls were extremely dirty, dirt on... More

I came to New York City for the first time on a trip with some of my close friends. Coming from the Midwest, I was warned by some friends that the people are not always the nicest in New York City but thought quite the contrary when we arrived at this hotel. The staff was very nice and accommodating! Without... More

The rooms and bathrooms were smaller than we're used to, but they were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is right off Times Square and even though we were on the ninth floor for the second night we could still hear sirens. The Vietnamese restaurant downstairs was lovely and the food very good. I cannot say enough... More

We've been all over the world but I've never experienced ignorance from staff like I have at this hotel, however only for us dealing with the manager "Corey" who was professional & personable we would have looked for a refund. Beautiful location around the corner from times square rooms tiny. The bell staff were deplorable & we were charged for... More

The hotel is situated in a great location right next to times square, and very close to the hop on hop off tourist bus routes. the room was small, but a good size for new york, it was clean and modern, the bed was comfortable, but as you are in the middle of New York it can be a little... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
