Comfortable room, big for NYC - we had a great view on the Brooklyn bridge. Very convenient for visiting Downtown Mannathan, Brooklyn and taking the boat for Ellis Island. Our stay at the Seaport Inn was pleasant, the staff was helpful, the location ideal and the room clean and well appointed. The hotel is small and cozy with a nice seating area in the lobby. I stayed here in 2006, 2007 and most recently in March 2008, and have found it to be consistently above average all three stays. Easy access to the FDR and Brooklyn Bridge for transportation. I stayed at this hotel while attending a conference in the financial district November 5-7. Given that this hotel is not that much cheaper than many other better hotels in the area, I was pretty dissapointed with my stay.
