Checked in last night. Hotel is in a great location in the South Street Seaport area. Very close to World Trade area, about 10-15 minute walk. Room is very clean, old style room. Only draw back so far is the television. It is raining and it keeps freezing up. Very annoying. They must have a satellite dish. Breakfast was actually... More

We were very pleased with the staff and the room facilities. The staff was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. There are some very good restaurants in the same block. It has a good location for walks along the East River, close to downtown Manhattan, not far to take the subway. The rooms are not large, but comfortable. The internet service... More

Hotel is very close to the 911 memorial. We walked there in less than 15 minutes. Very nice neighborhood with views of the Brooklyn Bridge. Restaurants and shopping near by. Hotel room was just a normal room, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok, they had fruit, cereal and bagels and muffins. Front desk was... More

This is a pretty typical Best Western, although it's very convenient. The room was clean, but it looked out on a small alley. I wasn't particularly fond of this, because I prefer a lot of natural light, but you can't beat the price. Definitely satisfied overall.

We stayed at the Best Western prior to taking a Cruise on NCL. Location was great. Area was really nice with nice shops, bars and restaurants. A lot of activities in the park. Hotel was nice, our room had a great view of the bridge. Room was clean, hotel was clean. Staff helpful and very friendly. I would stay here... More

Surprisingly good NYC hotel value, nice location with many restaurants in area and convenient to subway, quiet and clean. The room amenities are functional and the staff friendly and attentive. I will return when I'm in need of NYC modest hotel for business purposes.

Had a quick (free w points) overnight stay. Not very pleasant at check in. Woman was disinterested, looking at phone most of encounter. Room was old style but adequate. Considering I'm a platinum member, surprised at very basic room - usually I get slightly nicer. No special "thanks for being platinum member" greeting. Oh well. Nice restaurants in area. Might... I've stayed in hundreds of hotels as I'm a traveling stand up comic/actor and this hotel is nice but it's pretty much just average in everything. It's just kind of there, not great, not bad but for $320 a night(Saturday rate, Friday night was $290)I've had much better. I would stay here again but I would certainly look around for better... They were not expensive and for the location and the price this hotel was AMAZING! I would definitely go back! The breakfast was a great way to start the day and since it was free allowed us to spend our money on more fun activities in the city. 4 star hotel for a 2 star price.
