I was here in Sep 2011. The room was dirty; the grout in the shower was black with mold, the floor was dirty, the baseboards had lots of dust and grime on them, the metal shelving in the bathroom was rusted; just gross overall. The real issue that spurred this review is my friend and I each have little red... More

We stayed here in fall of 2009 and really enjoyed it. What we loved the most was the location which was very close to Times Square and the rooftop bar which was super hip but laid back. The rooms were recently redone and very nice. However if ultra modern and overwhelming blue lighting bothers you, then this place is not... More

Great stay at the Dream Hotel in Midtown. I loved the staff- very helpful with some early deiveries for my meeting. The bed was THE MOST comfortable I have ever slept on during travel. Loved the location, windows that opened for the thunderstorm, great lighting in the bathroom and cool blue lights under the bed too! I will be back... More

We had a room on the 9th floor. That was ok. It was a room with a kingsize bed, so that was big enough. There was some noice of the street (honking of cars, trashcars on the street...) Things you can expect staying when staying in the city. On the first look the room was clean, but when you looked... More

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed. The room was large by NYC standards. There was some noisy late-night traffic in the corridor, though

The hotel is indeed well place, within a couple of minutes walk to Columbus circle and Central Park. The rooftop lounge is quite nice, because of the view, but I do think the stafff could be more friendly. Charging 10 dollars a day for Wifi acess is not very nice either, but I guess this is commonplace in American hospitality.... More

The hotel itself was unbelievably beautiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was in a great location and very easy to find at night while walking around the city. The rooms were very luxurious. After walking around the city all day and half the night, we would come back and just plop down on the bed so tired.... More

This is by far the worst hotel I have stayed at. While the location was excellent, the stuck up rude employees set the tone for the worst hotel experience ever. The room was so tiny that there was no room to even place our bags after shopping. I had to shower sideways in a very old and gross shower!!!! We... More

Great location, one minute walk to Undreground, 10 minutes ride from Manhattan. Free WIFI works perfect in lobby. Would stay there again!

I stayed here on August 11th and was very tired after my long flight. Rimma and Antony could not have been more kind, warm and friendly as they greeted me at the front desk. They felt like friends right away. The room was lovely, it had all I needed, but it is these two people who will make me come... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
