This hotel is at very good location, near Broadway and with a view on Times Square from the bar on the penthouse of the hotel. The personel was extremely friendly, and the (italian)restaurant was good. The only problem was the noise of the city at night, but the beds were very comfortable so we had still sufficient sleep.

I had my wife's 30th birthday here and it was a hit. If wasn't cheap, but if you are willing to pay up you can get a big room that can hold about 20 people. The bed was great too. I would recommend holding a party here. The view from the club is also great but very loud on a... More

Stay somewhere else. Spent a pretty penny to stay here and they wouldn't even let us up to the roof top bar. There are much better hotels in new York. We stayed in New York for 2 days and at 2 different hotels. This one was the worst ever. Dont waste your money!!!! You can find a much better deal... More

Dear Cnsp0t2, I am terribly sorry that we didn’t live up to your expectations and we appreciate you taking the time to tell us. With regards to the rooftop lounge, I can assure you that it operates in conjunction with the hotel and has a door policy that is similar to many popular lounges New York city. Serafina and Room... are the two best words I can use to describe The Dream's midtown location. I like the ambience of the rooms with the glowing blue lights. The staff in both the hotel and lounges are very personable and go out of their way to find out a little something more about each of their guests. The only drawback is one... More

I recently stayed at Dream and was very impressed. The staff was courteous, the room was very clean, and I loved the location. I had a conference at the NY Athletic Club on 58th & 7th so the walk was just 3 short blocks up from Dream. I had meetings in the upper east side, upper west side, times square,... More

We stayed at Dream 2 nights for a business meeting. Rooms are big, specially for NYC. Staff has and attitude. Not sure why, maybe its a NYC thing. Location is great, just a few blocks away from Times Square, but not right on Times Square. Which is great as its not noisy. Incidentals can get very costly. We asked for... More

Perfection location close to central Park, Time sguare and the Pier for Cruise departure or return. Small room, large bathroom, very clean and helpful staff. Great Hotel. Front staff were great - Anthony is very friendly and very helpful. Able to check in early and we got a great room on the 6th floor. Our room was nice and big and it faced Broadway - across from the construction of the new hotel. Didn't bother us at all. Usual Big City noise but we had... More

Worst hotel experience ever! The entire staff is very rude, front office, room service, instant service, concierge, doorman's... The entire hotel, lobby and elevators were very dirty. The room was even worse, stains on sheets, hair everywhere, broken minibar, safe-box not working... 72 hours for dry cleaning (same day was promised). Don't even think about asking anything to the concierge,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
