Dream Midtown has a super location... A walk away from great shopping and some delicious restaurants... The Serafina Italian restaurant serves the most delicious food and Ava the rooftop lounge is absolutely rocking on a saturday night... Try the red wine sangria - its a must! Stayed in the suite which is amazing in size of a small New York... More

I travel regularly on business and was not shocked at the small size of the room, this was expected and not a problem but this was the first hotel in NYC where I was not comfortable putting my toothbrush down in the bathroom. There were many mystery splatters throughout the room and the blinds were downright filthy with drips and... More

Dear Shawkir, Please allow me to sincerely and profoundly apologize for what is a regrettable and certainly avoidable set of circumstances. I prefer not to make excuses. We got it wrong and the only thing that matters now is learning from these missteps, which we will share with the respective departments and staff here, and getting it right by you.... More

This hotel is in a fantastic location. Its just a block away from Central Park. It is walking distance to Fifth Avenue and Times Square. There is a subway station (7th Ave) right outside the doors. Seraphina restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in the lobby. The Carnegie Deli is right around the corner as well as a great sandwich... More

Racy is a good way to describe this hotel. There are murals on the walls depicting naked men and women and this happens on every floor of the hotel. The rooms are a good price for downtown Manhattan ($155 a night before tax), but they are very small. I have included some pictures of our room and one of the... More

Stayed 1 night, Sunday September 2nd, and it was one of the WORST HOTEL IVE EVER STAYED AT. I was with my girlfriend and we booked the room from Hotel Tonight ( amazing apps btw ) and from the pictures the hotel looked very nice. The description stated smaller than usual room. It also stated valet parking. We got at... More

I left the dream hotel with the worst taste in my mouth! A few friends and myself stayed at the Dream Labor Day weekend so as you probably know it was more expensive then normal because it was a holiday weekend and also because we asked for the rooms that lead right out to the pool deck. We checked in... More

Stayed in the dream hotel from 24th to 27th August for my wifes 40th birthday. The location was excellent, just blocks from Time Square and Central Park. We had a King Room which was of a good size, bed was very comfortable to lie on but not so great for sleeping. The bathroom also of good standard except the toilet... More

Stayed over the weekend of the 24th of August and overall it was a decent experience. The rooms are very flashy with neon lights under the bed and at the desks, which I could do without. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious enough although I would hope the hotel invests some money in upgrading them some.... More

The Dream Hotel was our home for a 11-day business trip and we really enjoyed staying here. It is a "design" hotel with minimal, elegant furnishings. The rooms were on the small side, but certainly adequate for two people, and very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly although not perfect when it came to special requests. The street-level... More

The hotel is located just 5 blocks from Central Park on the corner of 55th & Broadway in the Times Square district. Although I would usually avoid anywhere near Times Square, this was just a few blocks north of being in the main drag (& therefore avoiding the tourist traffic and noise). I had a room at the back of... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
