This is a classic run down hotel that gives itself a face lift in the lobby area, adds neon blue lighting everywhere and gets to call itself a "boutique" hotel. Here is what i got for $450 a night (Room 1003) -Great location close to Broadway and Central Park -Very small enterance/lobby area. A hip guy wearing a 'Simbad the... more

I stayed at Dream 4 nights, from 24 to 29 April (we were two). I had spent quite some time looking for accommodation prior to going, and I had read a huge amount of reviews of this and other hotels. To put it short I really liked the hotel. If what you look for is something really luxurious, overly romantic... more

My friend and I stayed in the Dream and booked one of the 'smaller' rooms because of our budget! Whilst I appreciate square footage in NY is at a premium, I wasn't quite prepared for how small it was. Pictures just don't show exactly how small something is. When you've got 4 suitcases between you (we had just been to... more

Of the hotels we looked into, Dream seemed to be the best one in terms of price, location and interior for us. We ended up staying 5 nights. The room was clean, but I agree with the other reviewers - lighting is poor, and sometimes it's too dark to see during the day! The bathroom is very small, but okay.... more

Myself and a friend stayed at the Dream for four nights recently. The location was very close to Times Square (5 minute walk). The hotel was modern and clean. The room had nice fixtures and fittings and an amazingly comfortable bed but it was TINY. I have stayed in many other hotels in NYC and this was by far the... more

I originally found this hotel because someone had recommended the Ava lounge -on the rooftop of the hotel- to me (which, incidentally is very nice). This hotel was pretty much as I thought it would be after seeing their website. I thought the pictures on the site might have been exaggerated, or that maybe they only photographed the best rooms,... more

First off, construction. Across the way from our room. Renovating a building---NYC all hours permit to do construction. Which meant all night dumpster noises-HORRIBLE. Strange blue lights beneath bed and on the desk. CREEPY picture of a little girl on the wall. The room is on the small side as well. Beds were really comfy and clean. Other than that... more

Dream Hotel has a great mid-town location, which is why we chose it - close to a couple of subway stops, Columbus Circle, Central Park, Theatre District. Serafina Restaurant onsite and not bad. The Good News. Rooms are small but well appointed, Staff was helpful. Fitness room was so-so, but you can get a comp. pass to Gold's Gym (just... more

This hotel is funky and cool. I also got it for a reasonable NYC rate. The room was small but comfortable. These are the good parts. The bad part is that my non-smoking room might as well have been a bowling alley. The smell was passable when I checked in due to the bathroom window being cracked. When I closed... more
