My husband and I were honeymooning in DC and took the train to NYC for 1 night. We checked in and checked right back out. The room was not acceptable. The floor was not vaccummed and there were stains all over the carpet and bedspread. The air conditioner barely worked and it smelled like urine. Horrible experience, not to mention... more

I was in New York for a class, and this hotel exceeded both my needs and expectations. It is simple and clean, and the location was perfect for access to Soho, Chinatown, and the Village. The 32 inch flatscreen tv had more channels than I could ever need. The front desk staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. I wanted to... more

Hotel: Stayed here in July 2009, it was a nice stay and reasonably priced considering the location and the time of year. The hotel and rooms are clean and have a very modern, IKEA like look. There is no gym/pool/restaurant...etc, rooms were small but I didn't spend much time in the rooms anyway so it didn't bother me. I was... more

I took a chance with Azure recently when I wanted somewhere to stay downtown that was in a great location, inexpensive, and clean. After reading numerous tripadvisor reviews and comparing prices, locations, and all I settled on Azure, despite the number of recently negative reviews that popped up regarding this place. When I checked in, I'd expected the worse --... more

Recently stayed at the Hotel Azure for a night to attend a graduation party in the city. My experience with this hotel was bumpy from the start. The day before our arrival, I received a call from the hotel and was told that their had been a glitch in their computer systems and they would not be able to honor... more

We recently stayed at this hotel for five nights. The room was small but clean, modern and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and for tourists only needing somewhere to sleep it did the job - almost. Our room was on the second floor and the noise of traffic and subway during the night made us both resort to... more

Recently stayed in the hotel for two nights. The hotel is close to Canal St. which is very busy and loud. The bed vibrates every night as the subway passes underneath it which wakes you up - the first night it happened I thought it was an earthquake! The heater was either blasting away or blowing freezing air - no... more
