We loved our 4-night stay here after spending 6 days up in Midtown. The location is fantastic, you can easily access 3 different subway lines within a block or two making it very easy to get around. It's also walking distance to some of the best Soho restaurants and bars. The rooms are small but they've renovated them perfectly to... More

You get a clean, comfortable room with a bed, bathroom and a tv for a reasonable price in a great location. Other than that the facilities extend to coffee in the lobby in the morning and not a lot else, but that shouldn't be a problem if all you're looking for is somewhere to sleep. There are three subway stations... More

Spent one night here last week and would have been completely happy to have spent the entire trip here (was using points at another hotel). This place is basic but it's perfect and the price can't be beat! Rooms are very basic but very clean with a roomy bathroom and a very comfortable bed. We were on the 2nd floor... More

This place was perfectly situated for our trip and reasonably priced . The room we had was more than big enough and had what was needed . Staff where top notch and couldn't have been more helpful , especially Christophe the owner who was always happy to answer questions and recommend places for food/drinks and general sightseeing . We will... More

Such a friendly staff, great room, and perfect location. Yellow subway line is right outside of the door. Will definitely be back in the future! Our room was always cleaned and tidied up by the time we got back with fresh towels a neatly made bed. Absolutely loved it!!

Perfect location, super friendly staff, clean rooms ... and great value for your money, definitely we made the right choice for our holiday! I simply loved it! I have worked for hotels for the last 5 years and I have learnt how to read between the lines of all these online reviews and just take what it is important for... More

This is NYC so you should expect expensive hotel rooms without amenities. This hotel holds up well against its competitors. Our room had a king bed and small refrigerator which can be hard to find in this price range. The room was clean and comfortable, but fairly sparse. There were some bare shelves for clothes and a hanging bar, but... More

As long as you are prepared for a Very Small Room, you'll be fine. Comfortable bed, tiny but serviceable bathroom. Wood crates bolted to the walls for bedside tables. View of extremely busy, very urban intersection of Canal and Lafayette Streets felt festive. Front desk staff couldn't have been more helpful. Willing to hold our 5 bags for several hours,... More

I've visited NYC about 6 times in the past decade, and this is the hotel I will choose to stay in again when I return. There are so many positives. Firstly the location. It's right in between lots of neighbourhoods (Soho, Little Italy, Tribeca, Chinatown) you can really just walk a couple of blocks for almost anything you need. Also... More

Good location in terms of the subway and being near to Little Italy and walking to Greenwich etc. Poor location in terms of what they seem to be doing with garbage and refuse in the less affluent parts of New York at the moment - I can't imagine people uptown putting up with the rubbish on the summer streets near... Staying in SoHo

Neighborhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.
