Great location, brand new clean rooms. Excellent staff. I just wish they would build these new rooms with a bit more space. Other than that had a great time. The free beer for IHG members was a good way to get me into the pub. Cheers!

I stayed at this hotel for one night. It was a quick get away for the weekend. Upon first sight the room seemed like a typical NYC room, small and compact. Upon investigation one of the bed's sheets was covered with hair and there was used tissue underneath the sheets. I was in disbelief that the housekeeping staff would over... More

I'm not being facetious when I say the hotel rooms are small like a nyc studio apartment but you get what you pay for. Aside from the small rooms and thin walls, the hotel is great. Relatively modern decor in the rooms, incredibly friendly and accomodating staff (from the front desk, bar, luggage room people to the maintenance crew); everyone... More

Spent five nights here in mid-September. Although the rooms are New York small, I was happy with the overall quality of this hotel. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet. Food in the restaurant is very good and the outside patio is very nice. Shout out to Rachel then fantastic patio server. Concierge arranged transportation to the airport. Only downside... More

The hotel is well located in Midtown for exploring the various sights of Manhattan. However, the area is a bit grotty and the hotel is squashed between two rather drab and run down buildings. The reception is very small and often full of luggage. Not the most inviting start as you enter the hotel. The room we had was small... More

The rooms are small - really intended as a place to sleep and little else. Probably not the best choice for families with active youngsters. The location is very good - easy access to the subway and in walking distance from lots of things to do and see. So. there's really little reason to be in the room other than... More

We've stayed at many different hotels in New York and this was one of the best. The location is perfect for access to anywhere in the city. We often stay away from Times Square, choosing to spend most of our time in the East and west villages, Chelsea and Brooklyn, and each location was a short walk or subway ride.... More

Location is good, short walk to Times Square and 5th ave. rooms are clean and beds are comfortable, bathrooms are a bit small. Attention to detail is lacking, if you can get past the need for a paint job then I recommend this hotel.

The location is very good, in the "middle" of Manhattan and close to much. There are restaurants, bars, shops and train and subway stations close by, and many tourist attractions are walkable distance from the hotel. The rooms (and this is common in Manhattan) are very small, the size of the bed and some extra space just to "circulate" between... More

I thought with a Holiday Inn I'd be choosing well, and I was right. The location was brilliant, situated fairly central I was able to walk to all the local attractions from the hotel, including up to Central Park and down to Battery Park for our trip to Statue of Liberty. We had a room with 2 double beds. Room... More

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighborhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighborhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighborhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
