Loved this room. Too bad it was so close to Times Square. I'm a light sleeper and the closeness to Times Square (2 blocks) with the noise and traffic kept me awake at night. I invested in some ear plugs and that helped a lot. The room was really great! On suite washer and dryer, plenty of closets (4), high... More

We spent one week at the end of April in AKA hotel and we enjoyed it very much. Hotel is located in the heart of Manhattan just a few steps from Times Square. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our suite was comfortable and nicely furnished. It was clean and peaceful. We also enjoyed complimentary coffe and tea on... More

I'm that kind of person that searches a couple of months to find the best place to stay. This time was searching for the best appartment in NY. And this could be it, great amount of space and nice kitchen, bed, bathroom and furniture. Yes, it's pricy, but it's worth it! A lot of space within 1 minute of Times... More

We Chose AKA because we did not want a hotel room, with not enough room to swing a cat...not that we swing a lot of cats. As for cost, there is very little difference between booking two hotel rooms and a two bedroom apartment at AKA. The big advantage is having a sofa, a full size table, being able to... More

We had made reservation for stay in one bedroom suite from April 22-29 for three adults in room no.508. We were very unhappy with extra bed which had soiled sheets and springs not in a good condition. The toilet was sticking. I reported the matter to Liliana Sindler, Front Office Manager and she patiently heard me and immediately upgraded to... More

Our first trip to New York was made so much more enjoyable with the perfect apartment. Location was central to everything, apartment spacious and clean and the staff were friendly. Special mention to Vincent who provided us with valuable information for local tourist activities and sites. Will be staying there when we visit New York next (hopefully soon - awesome... More

We stayed at these well appointed apartments half a block from the southern end of Time Square. Let's be honest when visiting NYC there is little time to enjoy the amenities of a hotel but the apartment was very spacious, clean and modern. It had a very nice lounge and patio on the top floor as well as a small... More

We boooked this place April 13-21st after reading a lot of posiive reviews. We have always been partial to self catered lodgings as we prefer to cook, doo landry and prefer the extra space. This place is beautiful, just a few minutes off Times Square, we were in the middle of Manhattan without the excessive noise and traffic. The staff... More

Bed was harder than the floor we slept on roll out trundle and lounge in the lounge room as bed was so hard we barely slept the first night and woke up in extreme pain barely able to move! Dryer in the room did not work for more than 5 mins max so whilst we could wash we couldn't dry... More

In the time my family and I stayed there, it was easily the priciest Aparthotel in the area--definitely not an option if you're on a budget. If you plan on splurging, however, this is the place to be. It is literally in the centre of anywhere you want to be if it's your first time in Manhattan. The 2-bedroom apartment... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
