Me and my partner stayed here in June of this year for 6 nights. The hotel is fairly new, clean and the staff were very nice. Lovely view of manhattan bridge from our room. The subway is not far from the hotel so easy to get around. As this was our 5th trip to nyc, it was nice to stay... More

First I was skeptical, because of the location being near china town and little Italy, not the usual mid town experience, but once we figured out the metro, we we're never more then 10 minutes away from anything, plus we experienced the flair of China town. The hotel is very quite and staff super helpful.

The Be Hotel offered a great deal and the stay was absolutely worth the price. Staff was impeccably helpful and friendly, room was very new with a fantastic bed - very comfortable. Location is not in the city center but easy to reach with tube or Taxi. Neighborhood is safe. I can highly recommend this place for any NYC visitor... More

Tough time finding the place- no signs anyway, just a door in a building next to a Buddhist temple with a number on it. Staff was pleasant. Room was huge and I had a great view of the bridge. My two complaints- the heat was difficult to regulate- i was either roasting or freezing as it was either ON or... More

I traveled with my family and have absolutly no complains from that hotel. The price was reasonable for december, people on the front desk were very polite and nice, the room was clean and they have really good pillows. I have to go in NYC again in the spring and they will have me as a customer again!

dgdqrm - Stayed at the BE Hotel first part of Dec. 2014. I was originally shopping for a couple of rooms to accommodate 5 adults (close friends). Unfortunately they only had one room available. The person at the desk was not only sympathetic, but very creative! He suggested that one of their family suites might work for us. The room... More

New hotel...in a great area. I have never stayed in such a big room in NYC. Perfect for families. We walked across the Manhattan Bridge and walked to everything in SoHo. Front desk was very helpful. Would stay again!

This is a very nice property. It is well maintained and the staff is helpful. It has no amenities to speak of but it does not hold itself out as having any either. The location is at the very start of canal street near a bridge to Brooklyn. It can be a little loud at night but this is New... More

My wife arranged a room at Be Hotel through Expedia, by phone. It was listed as a 3 1/2 star property. The charge for one night, non-refundable, was $237 before taxes, etc., for a Tues. night stay. The hotel is at the edge of Chinatown, right near the entrance to the Manhattan Bridge. This is a pretty good location for... More

Be Hotel is reasonably priced for the location and services of the hotel. Easy access to subways and to NY's LES and Soho neighborhoods. The rooms are comfortable and free wi-fi makes all the difference.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
