I recently stayed here for a few months. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. Plus they keep the place clean and there is always a pot of fresh coffee!! The space is a little tight but thats alright bc who stays in their hotel all the time while visiting NYC. My only complaint is the application fee- this is... More

The best option you could have as benefit-cost for extended stay in New York City! I travel a lot for work and so far this is where I am coming back. The rooms are large and clean, with windows, a desk, air conditioner and hitter, TV, microwave, fridge, closet and private bathroom. Not mentioning the great room service that also... More

Quite neighbourhood, 15 min walking to the Columbus Circle, 7 min walking to the Central Park. 2 min walking to the nearest subway station. The hotel provides you only with toilet paper and a box of tissues, no soap, gel or anything else. Subway map for free at the reception. Cleaning is once a week, but no roaches, bed bugs... More

Hotel Alexander was a very nice hotel, which I can strongly recommend! I will be back already next summer for my second stay. The staff was extremely helpful with all my requests. As a lost Swedish intern in a big city, their support was very valuable. They made me feel very welcomed! The hotel was clean and quite. Laundry in the... More

Great place to stay in NYC compared to many other hotels. Slightly larger rooms - modern and clean - friendly staff. Great little gym. Great food delivery options nearby. Very close to the park on the hudson river.

I stayed at Hotel Alexander for the month of October. Because I booked very late (mid-September) I had to change rooms several times because of a lack of availability of the room I wanted to book. Therefore, I got to stay in two of their king bedrooms w/ private bathroom (nice furnishings, clean, and big enough for a room in... More

It's one of the cheap hotels in NYC and well located, not cheap in the sense of missing comfort even the rooms are small, but difficult to give them points. So, refurbished rooms, but it is more a hotel for a long stay, as well as, for to make you a price, they inquire if you have a residence or... More

Hotel Alexander is very conveniently located on 94th and West End Ave. 3 min walk to the express 123 stop. The place is super clean, and the hotel personnel is very professional. I have never had an issue personally with any of them. I stayed in a studio/shared bath for 10 months and never had a problem. The cleaning staff... More
