This is my second year that I stay at the Hotel Alexander. Each time for two months duration. It is a perfectly located hotel, not expensive and just perfect for a business stay. will come back next year!

It is a good enough place if you are not that demanding and needy. Be aware the Internet is awful, the worst wi-fi in Manhattan, but I have to say the personnel is very kind and willing to help. It is a great place for a student, you can have the essentials for a good stay in NYC.

I spent approximately two months at Hotel Alexander and my experience has been fully satisfactory in every respect. The location is spectacular, one of the best areas of the UWS, nested between the Riverside Park and the Central Park. It is also perfectly served by the metro, with a stop of two express lines (4-5) to downtown literally two blocks... More

Stayed at the Alexander for a month. We where ten people traveling together divided into several rooms. The rooms was clean and tidy. Only thing to nag about is that the size of a "two queen size bedrooms" is not equal to each other. So one of the rooms where huge, but the other one was tiny. Great place to... More

I stayed in Hotel Alexander for a month. I would say it was a good experience overall however I have to say I had a few issues throughout the stay. First of all the internet connection inside the hotel is really inefficient. At this time and age you expect a wifi connection in a hotel in manhattan with this price... More

Nice hotel, certain parts could be updated a little but in general nice big rooms for NYC, great location for shopping and getting around. We had a baby in the cot, breakfast was great and rooms quiet. Would stay again.

I lived at Hotel Alexander for almost two months. It was a pleasant experience. The neighborhood is agreeable, with two parks on either side, giving a sense of spaciousness. At the same time, it's easy and quick to get to midtown and downtown by subway. The rooms are clean, and it really is the definition of a "boutique budget hotel".... More

The best option you could have as benefit-cost for extended stay in New York City! I travel a lot for work and so far this is where I am coming back. The rooms are large and clean, with windows, a desk, air conditioner and hitter, TV, microwave, fridge, closet and private bathroom. Not mentioning the great room service that also... More

Quite neighbourhood, 15 min walking to the Columbus Circle, 7 min walking to the Central Park. 2 min walking to the nearest subway station. The hotel provides you only with toilet paper and a box of tissues, no soap, gel or anything else. Subway map for free at the reception. Cleaning is once a week, but no roaches, bed bugs... More
