We stayed 4 days , 3 nights in Hilton Garden Inn Chelsea New York City on the Thanksgiving weekend. The doorman and the receptionist were all very friendly and helpful. We arrived before noon but they quickly find a room for us. The room with two queen beds was pretty big compare to other hotel. There is microwave and refrigerator... More

My teenage son and I recently attended a Saturday night concert in the East Village. We took the train earlier in the day from our home in Connecticut, but I didn't want to travel back late at night so I decided to look for a reasonably priced hotel. I didn't want to spend a lot, especially since we were going... More

Great beds, location good but on dark, unkept side street although safe. Very friendly but like everything in NYC you get little for lots of money We had 2 bed and about 3' between beds & 4 'feet at the end of the beds. Would not put more than 2 people in a room.

Went to New York with my wife and two adult children. Had a nice stay at Hilton Garden Inn New York i Chelsea on Manhatten. Nice and clean hotel, frendly staff. Close to everything. Took a private ride for 20 min. in a chopper around Manhatten. IT IS A MUST. Ordered a big taxi at the frontdesk at the hotel... More

This hotel was overall very nice. Positives: Room was pretty large for NYC, and included an iron, nice TV, desk, and closet. I received a complimentary newspaper when I opened my door in the morning, and also received my bill under the door. When I went to check my luggage at the front desk, the bellman was very friendly and... More

Was shocked at NY prices but this place was clean and very presentable without totally breaking the budget. The rooms were a little small as we had 3 adults, not much space for luggage but we were out mostly. Staff were good in giving us a room early although the lady at checkout talked to us like we were 4... More

I'd like to say the best thing about the hotel is it's location: so easy to walk south to the Village, Chinatown, Little Italy, or north to Times Square or Theaters, but the best thing about the hotel is EVERYTHING! Upon our early arrival on Halloween, we were given a key to the business center where my friend and I... More

We planned a 24 hour New York City adventure aiming to stay on a middle class budget while still comfortable for our lifestyle, (no hostels). Looking through TripAdvisor possibilities I was disappointed to find all hotels in the Theater District priced no less than $350 per night. Checking other neighborhoods in Manhattan, I noticed rates dropped quite a bit, that’s... More

Stayed for a weekend for the US Open and the rooms were very clean and none of us experienced any bugs whatsoever. Check out this hotel as one you can rely on for a comfortable, quiet stay. The staff was great and although the rooms are smaller than some I've stayed in, it had all the amenities.

Hotel was very clean and appeared recently renovated—nice! Rooms were good size. Service was outstanding! Great location—subway stop at end of block. Quiet. Highly recommended.
