The hotel is in a very convenient location. It is very close to the metro and the shopping areas but I did not like the room. We booked for three people and it was pretty crammed. I did not have enough room to open all my suitcases. It also does not really have a restaurant. It serves breakfast only at... More

Nice size rooms for New York standards. Comfortable beds. Slept well. Rarely heard other guests. Numerous places to eat close by. Extremely polite and warm staff. Great location if you want Chelsea area. A little difficult to get taxis at the hotel but you can walk up to the avenue and fare pretty well.

It took me quite a lot of research to find a room in NYC with two queen beds. The room was nice a little cramped for four but the beds were worth it. The room had a fridge and a microwave so we were able to bring leftovers for late night snacks. The air condition worked well and the street... More

Thank you for sharing your experience! I am glad our sizable rooms and queen size beds were able to accommodate you. Our location is fantastic- just far enough from Times Square to beat the crowds but within walking distance to almost all that New York City has to offer. Again, thank you for your review and we look forward to... More

Fantastic location in the Garden District. Quiet rooms, excellent city views. Close to subway, Chelsea Market and Hi Line. Room was adequate but not large and hanging closet was tiny. Coffee maker, micro and fridge were provided. We had two queen beds which met our needs nicely. The room had damp carpet and even the bed nearest the AC/window was... More

I selected this hotel for two reasons. First, I am a Hilton Honors member. Secondly, it is a very easy walk to Penn Station as well as Madison Square Garden. Great location. The room was clean with good bathroom amenities. Free Wifi.

The management of this hotel does not believe in customer service. If anyone understands the difference between management and leadership, this is a textbook case of Management. Customer service is not aligned with what one would expect from a hospitality establishment. I personally witnessed the front office manager yell at the two bellmen on duty for not responding "immediately" to... More

A bit disappointed. i expected more from a Hilton hotel. For NYC it has fair size rooms and bathrooms but furnishings and carpets are old. Bedding is below standard. Hard and uneven pillows and poorly fitting sheets. AC unit extremely noisy blowing air on "high" regardless of setting. Staff is nice and efficient.

Flowers! The hotel is on a street in Chelsea full of flower shops, so it's fun to see the deliveries every morning. The location is great - near multiple subway lines and the Highline. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's a great little coffee shop almost right across the street called A Little Taste. The price was extremely... More

Very nice hotel. The streets outside the hotel are really dirty with trash in the gutters, but that's life in the city. The area is okay but there aren't many good places to eat very close. It is very close to a subway stop so getting around the city is easy. Overall it is a very nice place to stay.

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighborhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighborhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighborhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
