A very interesting night indeed ! - as I mentioned previously the lovely man on the door welcomed us with open arms (almost - but he hadn't a problem with our non residency of the Bowery Hotel anyway) . We ordered our drinks at the bar just off the lounge area (M and myself couldn't decide on a cocktail from... More

I love this hotel's lobby, which has beautiful antique cement tiles, velvet sofas and an extravagant fireplace. It was a great place to have meetings while I was in town, and was cozy, sophisticated and comfortable. The location was great! I was doing a lot of meeting downtown and was able to get around easily. The room was modest, but... More

I had a great two night stay at the Bowery, it wasn't my first choice of hotel but it will be now! I love the decor, I had a great room with wonderful views of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. No complaints at all although there was some noise from another room down the hall where a... More

We arrived at the hotel at 11:00 from Canada for an event being held at the hotel. We were tired and wanted to rest up a bit prior to the party. They had emailed us earlier asking when we would arrive and was told the time but when we got to the hotel they made us wait till 3p.m. to... More

We came back to the Bowery for a last minute trip up to NYC during April and, as usual, were delighted. The hotel has the feel of an old hotel, even though it is very new, and the attention to detail was impressive. The typical room sometimes feels a little snug, particularly if you have company, but we were upgraded... More

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Bowery Hotel. This property is very authentic and full of charm, and staff is very welcoming and accommodating. We stayed in a corner King room as recommended in a review I read. The room was spacious and the view was fantastic. You have to request a corner king and the staff at... More

So it's a hot day, and you decide to pop in to the Lobby Bar at the Bowery Hotel for a drink. You still want to be outside, so you head to the back and sit at an empty table. About to order a drink before the door man (or host) comes to advise that all seats in the lobby... More

I've stayed here three times, and each visit gets more and more awesome. The Bowery Hotel oozes with old school charm. For a special treat, try to book a room on one of the upper floors to chill in one of the bathtubs. Great magazine selection in the rooms. Only downside is the confusing set up for plugging anything into... More

Your wants and needs are quickly met from the time you arrive at the curb. Exceptionally professional staff. Luxurious amenities. We had a corner room with amazing, ever changing views from sundown, through the night and sun rise. One of my favorite NYC hotels.
