My fiancee and I recently stayed here for one night and we really enjoyed it. As Gold HHonors members we were greeted very warmly by the staff and given two free bottles of water and coupons for a free breakfast at AOA restaurant. We had a room in the back of the hotel and it was very new, spotless, and... More

Stayed here in early October 2012. Had a great time, staff were really helpful especially when asking them about getting around and restaurants etc. Room was clean and free wifi in the hotel was greatly appreciated. Used the subway to get around which was really easy especially as Canal St station is right outside the hotel. Try the Italian over... More

Recently completed a two night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn to attend an event at the Tribeca Cinemas. We had a very clean, standard king room on the 5th floor, and enjoyed having our own mini fridge and microwave in the room. We used the hotel valet parking service for convenience, and never needed a car due to the... More

Nothing special, standard mid-level chain. Best thing about this hotel is location. Blocks from the Holland Tunnel. If you're driving into the city from NJ, it's an incredibly convenient location. Decent bar/restaurant on the ground level and right about the Canal Street subway stop. For the price it's a decent option in Tribeca. Only negative was a very loud hallway,... More

Our family (two adults and a 5 year old) stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca at the end of October. I can't say enough about how much we liked the hotel and the location. For Manhattan, the room we had with two double beds was a very nice size. The staff was one of the nicest hotel staffs I've... More

Dear ldhart, Thank you for your review! We appreciate the compliment about our staff. We are very proud of the entire team here. I'm happy the location worked out well. It is a great neighborhood, close to SOHO, Little Italy and Chinatown... and the hustle and bustle of midtown is just a short train ride away. Funny you mention Saluggi's... More

Convenient to a number of subway lines; walk to SoHo, east and west villages, Chelsea, Chinatown, Little Italy, etc. Room was pretty good for NYC. Front desk folks were very accomodating. Nice gym as well.

The rooms are big and quiet, the King bed was very confortable and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The position is ideal to visit SoHo (at walking distance) and the rest of Manhattan since the hotel is right above Canal Street subway station.

Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, you can save money by parking your own car in the garage at 311 W Broadway, discount coupons can be found online. Be careful walking around. Came out of the Holland Tunnel and there it was. Arrived a few hours early but Vinny at the front desk took our bags and stored them until our room was ready. The valet service was also very good. Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
