When I get the chance I always stay at a Hilton Garden Inn. This hotel confirmed all the positive experiences I have had with the brand in the past. A quality hotel with a super staff that provided professional but friendly assistance.

The staff was friendly and helpful and in and out were easy. The cooling system lacked knobs and therefore didn't work well. The door didn't fit the door frame well, so I didn't feel very secure and could hear every door slam in the hall quite clearly. Very expensive for what you got.

The staff at The Hilton Garden Inn was extremely friendly, cheerful and helpful. They were so nice to our family while there for 3 nights and greeted us with a smile every time we came in. I wish I got their names so I could give them the credit they deserve. Both ladies at the front desk and guys at... More

Rooms are nice, but nothing special. Bathrooms are average, and mattress is OK. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is very good, close to shopping, Chinatown and Little Italy. It is also walking distance (about a mile) to Battery Park.

My husband and I just returned from our second stay at this hotel. We didn't hesitate to book here again as it suits us so well, the main reasons being - location, value for money, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We really enjoy being in a low key neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle, its great to enjoy... More

Came to New York on my own for a weekend, and my main mission was to find a nice hotel which didn't make me feel like a complete mug for paying so much for a hotel room, and had a good location in Tribeca. In the event, this hotel had a decent rate - and also the room was pretty... More

The hotel was easy to reach from Penn Station and provided a good anchor spot for our activities (right on the A, C and E trains). Room and lobby were clean and had everything we needed (though two luggage racks would have been great!). I would give a higher rating for value except the room was the typical size for... More

I stayed at this hotel for work. It was perfectly nice -- pretty much a standard chain hotel turned up a notch to account for the higher Manhattan pricing (though even by that standard the front desk staff were pretty indifferent). The main reason to book here is the location, which is fabulous. In addition, sometimes they offer rates that... More

We have been to New York a few times and wanted to stay this time near Soho. We picked the perfect hotel! Perfect location right off Canal street and right at the crossroads of Soho, Greenwich, Chinatown/little Italy and of course Tribeca. The subway is literally right out the front doors!! And one subway line to JFK. We stayed here... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
