Very accommodating staff. Offered suggestions on particular shops and restaurants that suited our needs. Helped with best mode of transit based on traffic issues to assist in getting to theater on time for show. Convenient location in Tribecca. Room nice with good view.

This is a very clean hotel with excellent staff. I don't think there was one member of the staff that did not greet us cheerfully, from front desk and housekeeping to the maintenance guy who actually looked up from his task to smile and say good morning as we walked by. Location is right by the Holland tunnel so getting... More

I travel to NYC often and have a choice of hotels, but i always seem to end up back at the Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca. The staff is just fantastic, the rooms are large and the location is great for access to the city. How nice is it to pick your room on-line, get your key and walk into an... More

We stayed two nights in Tribeca for a wedding and to visit family. The room was large by NYC standards, the bed comfortable and the room quiet despite the city view. The hotel was clean and the staff helpful. There are subway stops 100 feet from the front door and a second line 2 blocks away. The bathroom was clean... More

Stayed 5 nights with family of four. Rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were professional, courteous and helpful. Good selection of breakfast foods. Would recommend package included in breakfast package. Our room was on high floor facing the alley. It was quiet and pleasant after a busy day of sightseeing. Hotel has easy access to Blue (outside hotel) and... More

There are a number of hotels around the 6th Ave, Canal St intersection. This one has larger than normal NYC hotel rooms. The breakfast is good, although skews to American tastes. Ask for a high floor room, preferably not facing 6th avenue, to avoid the traffic noise. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The staff here are genuinely friendly and extremely helpful. This was our first stay, but we were made to feel like old friends visiting. The restaurant/bar was lively, and the service was good there, too. It was convenient and welcome. The neighborhood is nice, if not too exciting, and the hotel is close to a wonderful breakfast restaurant. The subway... More

Stayed here for 9 nights during our first ever trip to NYC. We were really happy with the location - walkable to good food and the subway and far enough out of the hustle and bustle that is was quiet at night and out of the way. We stayed in a 2 x double bed room which was perfect for... More

Stayed here because our friends were already staying here. Loved the location. Can't beat it! Room was overall in great shape. A/C unit was loud and blowing too much air. All you could change was the temperature.Could not do anything about the fan blowing strong other than turning it off. All staff we encountered were very courteous and responded to... More

Room clean and good bed. Small problem with a previous guest switching around phone cables so the phones didn't work but soon fixed. Front desk staff cheerful. Very good location near subway lines and also easy walking to great places in Tribeca and nearby. Downside is co-located bar/restauarant AOA - noisy and packed sports bar with restaurant tables. Good mediocre... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
