We stayed here during the week of August 17th. This is the best experience I’ve had at a hotel. From check-in to check-out everything was perfect. The hotel staff; Carmel, Cassie, Steve and Edwin were always personable and willing to help with directions and recommending things to do. They weren’t I work here and have to be friendly they were... More

I had a fantastic experience staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. By far the best hotel I have stayed at in Manhattan. I was super impressed with the staff. My room was very quiet and clean. They offered a variety of amenities - gym, and business office, which I found very helpful.

We loved the staff (for the most part). They were very upbeat and helpful. The whole hotel had a very upbeat vibe. The room was on the small side for my taste (nowhere to sit except on the bed), but that's expected in NY. The hotel's bar and restaurant was lively - had drinks only . They were very good,... More

Great room, great service, great price. Maybe the most comfortable bed ever. The whirlpool bathtub was big enough for two. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The location was great. If you love shopping on Canal street this is the place for you. Trendy restaurants and great people watching. Minutes from China town

Love the location. Like the lobby and welcoming. Didn't like the condition of the bathroom, looked old. Hard to find parking spots in the street, the valet charged $65 every time I leave the car in the hotel, even within the same day.

a hotel in NY = a hotel NY This hotel is special because of the service provided by the staff. They'll do their upmost to make your stay as enjoyable as possible (we were a family of four; 2 adults, kids 13 and 10) Especially Bellman Edwin, housekeeper Diana and Front Office supervisor Larissa had 'service-with-a-smile' as their middle name.... Very accommodating staff. Offered suggestions on particular shops and restaurants that suited our needs. Helped with best mode of transit based on traffic issues to assist in getting to theater on time for show. Convenient location in Tribecca. Room nice with good view.

This is a very clean hotel with excellent staff. I don't think there was one member of the staff that did not greet us cheerfully, from front desk and housekeeping to the maintenance guy who actually looked up from his task to smile and say good morning as we walked by. Location is right by the Holland tunnel so getting... More

I travel to NYC often and have a choice of hotels, but i always seem to end up back at the Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca. The staff is just fantastic, the rooms are large and the location is great for access to the city. How nice is it to pick your room on-line, get your key and walk into an... More

We stayed two nights in Tribeca for a wedding and to visit family. The room was large by NYC standards, the bed comfortable and the room quiet despite the city view. The hotel was clean and the staff helpful. There are subway stops 100 feet from the front door and a second line 2 blocks away. The bathroom was clean... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
