There is something magical about this hotel. It's nothing out of the ordinary but it is not ordinary.Great location, walk to chic shopping, eat at some amazing close-by restaurants. The bar is like a locals Tribeca hangout....very hip. I highly recommend this hotel.

I initially looked at pricing for a two night stay, but booked only one night. Business dictated that I actual stayed the second night. When I call the hotel to extend for the second night the clerk increased the rate over 80% from the internet rate provide two days earlier. I would NOT stay at this particular Hilton again unless... Location was right in the heart of the city. Well maintained hotel with a professional and friendly staff! They were never too busy and always had a smile. I felt very comfortable as their guest. Attached restaurant/bar was nice and had a great menu. Happy hour was an excellent value.

We stayed on the 5th floor in a room looking out on Avenue of the Americas. The room was larger than we expected from an "economy" hotel and everything worked well. The room was almost soundproof-we only heard the doors open and shut in the two rooms next to ours. The TV reception was excellent as was the free wifi.... More

I met my cousin for a night in the city. Our main objective was to eat and shop, and the hotel was the perfect location. Service: The front desk was helpful storing bags and giving us a map. Always cheerful. Rooms: The main thing I want in a room (besides cleanliness) is quiet. This room was very quiet. Little to... More

This is my second stay at this hotel. All staff are superb, rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Subway is steps away and easy blue line to many attractions. Crave espresso bar across the street is great for breakfast and Pepolino's, also across the street, is highly recommended for dinner. Enjoy!

Girl's Trip to celebrate our 50th Birthdays. This hotel is the perfect spot for easy access to the entire city! Subway located outside the doors, extremely clean and comfortable, with a wonderful welcoming staff. I can't wait to return.

The rooms are very nice but the internet access is lousy. They give you complementary access whose speed is just 1 Mbits/sec and charge $4.95 for so-called premium internet access. The latter is just 3Mbits/sec which is ridiculous in this day and age.

Never written a review before but, recently stayed a weekend in Tribeca and loved the hotel. Service was outstanding, rooms clean and comfortable and little amenities made you feel at home. It was very reasonable for NYC, a great location near transportation and the restaurants of both Chinatown and Little Italy. Try a different area and this hotel and you... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
