The location is nice -- walking distrance to Soho, Tribeca, Village area and lots of good restaurants and shops. The room was fairly large by NY standards and very clean ..although the bathroom wallpaper was peeling. There is no way to control the fan on the AC so it just blows. So its either on at high speed or off.... More

I booked 2 rooms at the HGI New York/Tribeca for 4 nights, traveling with friends. We wanted a hotel in close proximity to Soho shopping, away from the hustle of midtown, but also public transit so we could navigate Manhattan easily. Perfect hotel for this.... with the subway being located literally 10 steps away from the hotel entrance. The rooms... More

We were pleased with our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn New York / Tribeca. Arriving at around 1:30 p.m., we expected to simply drop our bags and head out to explore the city, but the friendly concierge was happy to let us know our room was actually ready. A great first impression. We were cheeky enough to request a... More

I stayed at the Garden Inn Tribeca while on business in New York City. I first booked the room for two weeks. I canceled the second week to try Residence Inn Times Square as they had washing machines and Garden Inn didn't. The room at this hotel was nice (up to Hilton Standards). I enjoyed the mini fridge and microwave.... More

I was booked here by my company for business, but have no complaints. The staff was great, the rooms were big and comfortable and the neighborhood was fun. It was great for business, but would be excellent for leisure as well. Overall, a big thumbs up.

Went here for a Fri/Sat/Sun night stay. Hotel offers parking for 55/a night. Thinking I could save some cash, I dropped the wife off for check in and searched the area for parking. Unfortunately, if you want to be in Tribeca, parking is expensive. Parked 4/10th of a mile away and paid $52.00 a night. Lesson here is, $55/night valet... More

We stayed on the side facing Ave of Americas, so while it was nice to look out on the Avenue, it was also a bit loud. I had ear plugs and used them and slept great. Beds/bedding are upgraded and seemed new. TV was a bit small, but otherwise the room and overall facilities were great. Restaurant personnel were super... More

was suppose to arrive on 4/21 got in at 5am on 4/22. After driving around the location three times looking for their parking could not find it. So I parked in the only spot i could find (next to a fire hydrant) and ran in to check in. Asked where parking was. The clerk without batting an eye lash said... More

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn on April 17&18. This was our second stay. Even though we are Hilton Honors members, I had to work to get a free upgrade. Our first room, which we told had a nice view, omg, had a view of a yellow brick wall across an alley. You literally could not see anything else,... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
