The location is really good. Just about 15 min to the Times Square and Grand Central. We were 3 people together in one room and it was very less space. With 3 suitcases and bags (of course) it was always hard! Breakfast and support was OK!

Although this is difficult to find at first (there are SO many Holiday Inn Express sites nearby), the hotel is modern and clean, the comfortable beds also have a pillow selection for every firmness, and the room is adequate in size. My only beef is that if you are in the bathroom with the door open, you have to step... More

Finding value in lodging in New York City can be difficult. It seems the inexpensive places tend to have issues and the great places are very pricey. This Holiday Inn Express was right down the middle. It was just 2 blocks from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden, it was clean, the rooms were well kept, everyting worked, the breakfast... More

I checked in on 18 May for a night and stayed in room 312. Rate was $289 which is a little high but for NYC in May probably average. The People at the front desk were helpful and friendly but and when I came into the room it seemed okay. However I woke up in the middle of the night... More

This hotel was a good one in a good location (Chelsea) near Madison Square Garden. The hotel was very clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff was nice with the only real issue being housekeeping being below average. Also if you decide to go with the 'whirlpool king room,' be advised that you want to share this room with... More

Cannot fault this hotel for location, price, comfort and breakfast. Our room was on the 11th floor and was comfortable, well equipped (iron, hairdryer, desk) quiet and had air conditioning. We stayed for 5 nights and this hotel was a good price which included breakfast. Most others did not. The breakfast had a huge selection, pancakes, cereals, bagels, sausages, egged,... More

Brilliant location had a double room at the front of the hotel, with a view of the empire state building. In easy walking distance to times square, we even walked to 9/11 memorial although that was a distance!! The price included breakfast which is rare in nyc it was great, hot pancakes, eggs, sausage loads of choice and free tea... More

I have stayed in numerous IHG hotels. We were there for 5-days and housekeeping only cleaned once. Had to ask for fresh towels. The room was slightly larger than the king bed. We were very disappointed to say the least. At $349/night, we expected much more than we received.

Didn't realise when I booked this how central the hotel is. A 5 minute walk to Madison Square Gardens, and a 15 walk to the Empire State Building, it is just off 7th Avenue. We were booked on a B&B basis for 4 nights, the room was larger than I expected having spoken to people who had been to New... More
