We stayed in the London NYC for four nights as the first stop on our honeymoon (coming from the UK). The hotel is located in mid-town Manhatten, so it's easily within walking distance of Central Park, the fancy shops and the MOMA, and is just around the corner from a subway station, so it's easy to get everywhere else. The... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in August because of a special deal (1 night free); we would not choose this hotel at the regular rate. On the plus side: huge rooms (ours had separate living room), clean, free internet, excellent location, quiet night's sleep. On the minus side: huge charges for anything extra (if you touch the minibar it... More

I stayed for 4 nights at the all-suite London NYC in July. Check-in was friendly, professional and very quick. I did email in advance with a request for a nice view, and was not disappointed. I booked on a corporate rate, but was still given a suite with beautiful views over the park and a side view of the river.... More

What an amazing hotel! We were traveling with another couple celebrating our anniversaries. A few days before our trip, I had sent an email to the concierge for advice on where to eat. I received a phone call within an hour of the email. The concierge was extremely helpful in making all of our reservations. We arrived on an early... More

We had a room on the 7th floor which was spacious (for NYC) and very clean. The bed was comfortable, the room was reasonably quiet, the housekeeping excellent. Location is very convenient for walking to various sites and subway. Fitness centre was excellent. Free wi-fi worked well. Only complaints would be the lack of a proper door on the bathroom... More

I recently returned from a three day stay at the London with myself and 3 teens. The front desk, doormen, concierges (especially Mike), went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Personable and helpful. This is the 5th stay at this hotel in two years and I prefer it over other hotels. Rooms are very, very clean and... More

We are young adults in our 20s and we recently stayed at the London NYC for three nights. I booked the hotel to surprise my boyfriend for our one year anniversary :) We drove to NYC and the hotel's location is close to Times Square, therefore, it took us about 30-45 minutes to go to the hotel form the Lincoln... We recently stayed three nights at the London NYC. We booked the MoMA package which included a suite and a VIP pass for two to the Museum of Modern Art (located 1 block away). The room was a very modern, beautifully appointed suite with an amazingly comfortable king size bed. The service was amazing and the consierge was very helpful... More

I stayed here for 4 nights when I got stuck in NY due to the volcanic ash cloud. I loved this hotel. I had a superior type room on the 5- somethingth floor. My ears popped in the lift! The views were stunning and the room was excellent. High quality products, 2 tvs and free wifi which was very useful.... More

good bits - clean, big room & bathroom. bad bits -completely indifferent staff, very average breakfast and just felt a bit dead. Fine for a night but not a destination hotel. For a great NY hotel at a similar price we would definitely prefer the sohogrand, however, if you want to stay uptown its certainly OK..

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
