We stayed at the London NYC for 7 nights in January and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The best feature of this hotel is the room size. All rooms are suites with a separate living and sleeping area, very spacious for NYC and comfortable when your staying for a long period of time. Location is great as your walking distance... More

The first impression of The London is sophistication and style. We were politely greeted as we arrived and the check in was seamlessly easy. Unfortunately, when we arrived in our room it was not as expected and shown on the website. I immediately called the front desk and they assigned us a new room. When we entered the new room... More

This is by far our favorite NYC hotel. It's located perfectly and gorgeous. All rooms are suites, complete with a lovely sitting area, walk-in closet and large bathroom. When my husband and I visit the city, this our place!

I visited a friend that was staying at The London and as I was preparing to leave I was fortunate enough to strike up a conversation with Nikki at the front desk. What a lovely person she is and what a pleasure it was to chat with her for a moment. It's a wonderful feeling to be a non-guest at... More

We booked through American Express Platinum, and recommend doing that if you can. Our wonderful, spacious room cost $279 before tax, probably the best deal we have ever had in New York. The service is extraordinary, and the Gordon Ramsey restaurant off the stylish lobby is excellent for brunch or drinks. We did not sample it for dinner, but will... More

Vista Suite - great view, though not much of Central Park, as a giant building in front. Lovely room and v comfy bed. Lounge area too. If you like watching TV, the 2 TVs are very small. Bathroom lovely with sep bath and shower. Reception very friendly and helpful and unlike places like the Viceroy a few blocks away, there... More

My business requires me to travel to NYC normally from 3 to 7 nights several times a year. We had stayed at the London NYC for many years and made that our base for all my meetings and other duties. We decided to try some other properties closer to Time Square theatres (I am a Tony Awards Voter so I... More

My wife and I stayed at the London NYC one night while visiting NYC to see Cabaret (great show!). We stayed there based on reviews by other travelers and were extremely pleased with our choice. We booked a London Vista View Suite on the 45th floor that had a spectacular view facing north which included a view of Central Park... More

The thing with NYC is that you have to determine what you require for your trip and what you want to do in NYC. We were travelling as an extended family and decided that we wanted to base ourselves more uptown as had down the downtown areas other times and we were only there for 3 nights. We stayed here... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
