I had the good fortune to fly to New York City a few of weeks ago to cover a black-tie fashion gala and had decided to stay at The London Hotel, - an all suite hotel located in the Broadway district (my boyfriend and I watched An American In Paris , which was AMAZING by the way) . Anyway, back... More

Ok so I came back to the London NYC six months or so after my last visit. Frankly it was a total let down. Really the problem was the attitude of the staff. They tried to fob me off with a 10th floor room rather than the Vista suite I had requested. To be fair the manager sorted it out... More

Given that it is a Gordon Ramsey hotel, his reputation, the photographs, advertisements and other reviews we were expecting a top notch room and impeccable service. The room was large but the furnishings were tired, the bathroom set up was incredibly awkward and the sofa in the suite was so uncomfortable to sit on we had to go to a... More

Fantastic room size wize. This is an all suite hotel. Large bedroom and seperate sitting room. Good size bathroom inc shower and bath in our room. Great big sofa. Nice bar downstairs. Close to Times Square. Heaps of power points in room and alarm clock that works with iphones 5 and 6. Only minor complaint is slightly noisy aircon. Given... More

My girl friend and I recently spent two nights at the London. We had booked it because it is has suites with separate living and sleeping areas. When we arrived our booking was only for a single room - no problem. They adjusted and got us what we needed. The hotel is lovely, quite comfortable and convenient to the Theater... More

The staff makes the difference at the London. (Make sure to remember to take care of them, and you will have what you need, served up with authentic New York efficiency.) The all-suites layout is a cut above the cookie-cutter rooms of the bigger chain hotels nearby. All rooms in the area are pricey. By the way, Gordon Ramsay's restaurant... More

Not much to fault in fairness, friendly professional staff. Very disappointing in room hot breakfast. Food in Gordons was pretty average, lil let down, maybe my expectations were too high, especially as there are so many better places to eat around the area. Beds are fantastic, good quality bedding. Prime location, minutes away from Central Park and Fifth Ave etc.

I am required to visit NY a couple of times a year, and, depending on the timing and locations of the meetings I am attending, I have always gone out of my way to stay at this hotel. This dates right back to before its overhaul, when it was still the The Righa Royal. When I first stayed at the... More

We stayed at The London many times and this stay was equally wonderful. The rooms were clean and modern. The staff was helpful and made our New York visit great. Room service was fast and the coffee hot! The location c an't be beat.

I have stayed in the London a couple of times before on business but this time came with my family for an extended stay. As other reviewers have mentioned, NY hotels are generally not known for their room size and every so often you end up staying in a 2x4 cardboard box. Being an all-suite hotel, the London does not... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
