My husband and I stayed at this hotel as part of a bundled air + hotel deal. I didn't realize when I booked it what a great location the hotel is in - a block from the empire state building, and an easy walk to touristy locations such as times square. The room itself was small - but it is... More

Stayed here for 10 nights in August. Hotel is in a perfect location to travel all over New York- 33rd or 34th subway stations near as well as a walking distance from Grand Central. Starbucks, Oxford Cafe and a few delis close by that serve food at a reasonable price. All members of staff were helpful and friendly- they upgraded... More

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in Aug. and chose the hotel due to its perfect location and perfect rates. Location is very close to Empire State building, Harold Sq, Penn Station and other great shopping options. As Starbucks is right next to the hotel so an excellent spot for fast breakfast too. Don't judge the hotel rooms by... More

I came to New York for my 18th birthday alone, and this was my first hotel to ever stay at by myself and the staff did EVERYTHING to make me feel comfortable and at home. Yes room was small but for a solo traveler it was perfect. Also PERFECT location!!

Pros: - Central Location - Amenities are great. Everything is included, even a hairdryer - A/C was great - Hotel staff is friendly and courteous Cons: - Small entrance and small rooms - Bottled water costs $3 / bottle in the room - TV didn't seem to work (I didn't contact the hotel staff though) Traveler's Tip: - Book directly... More

OK, enough about the small rooms. There are plenty of reviews here stating that the rooms are small, so if you book please do not write a review complaining about the room size. Personally, this wasn't an issue for me because as with many other reviewers I came back to sleep there are night and the room is more than... More

The perfect hotel for what we needed - a clean and comfortable room in an excellent location. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. It was exactly what we expected and we would definitely go back if we come back to NYC.

The "small" aspect of the rooms I was not worried about; I had read the reviews. Our room though was constantly damp feeling, which made us feel uncomfortable wondering what made it so. I knew we might be in trouble when assigned our room as we were on a low floor, and sure enough, our room was extremely noisy. We... More

Perfect for a long weekend in NYC. We were on shopping trip so didn't want to hangout in room all day... Great central location, air conditioning, friendly staff and Starbucks coffee machine in room! No breakfast available but choice of two cafes either side of hotel, both great... Would definitely stay there again.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
