Just returned back from 4 nights at this hotel in NYC and we was very satisfied. The staff arranged us a cab from and to the airport at a good cost and was very helpful in providing the service. A warm and friendly welcome on arrival and always happy to help with all our questions throughout our stay e.g. How... More

Great location. Staff is awesome and friendly, especially John. John helped us with apps to download to help with taking the bus and the subway. Staff is always available. Loved that Starbucks is right next door and Empire State Bldg is one block away. The hotel was very clean and had the most comfortable bed I have ever had at... More

This is the closest thing to a proper and affordable hotel we found in mid Manhattan. Pros are its comfortable (but small) beds, cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff and of course the fact that is so centrally located, next to the Empire State Building and a short walk from all the main sites. Rooms are a bit small, there is... More

This was the cheapest decent hotel I could find in midtown Manhattan. The hotel is easy to walk past, remember to look out for the Starbucks next door. I arrived at around noon, and was checked in straight away (John was very helpful). The room was rather small, but this is a budget hotel, and as I only used it... More

My bf and I stayed at this hotel for a week at thanksgiving NOV 2014. We plan to return again soon to NYC and would definitely stay here again. Yes the rooms are small but have everything you need. We found there wasn't too much street noise in our room and found the Starbucks beside hotel so handy. The staff... More

On the plus side this hotel has a great location only 1 block away from the Empre State Building. Friendly staff and the bed was comfortable. On the down side as others have noted the rooms are very small and there are no wardrobes. If you are looking for somewhere to sleep with a central location then this is fine... More

Unfortunately, I was unable to fly out of LaGuardia due to weather issues. It was midnight before I realized I was stuck. I used the app Hotels Tonight just to see what was around. This hotel was listed - and for an awesome price (especially since I knew it was for a quick sleep) - so I called the directly.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
