First, it was always easy to remember how to get back to our hotel, since it is only 1 block from the Empire State Building. Second, we had an incredibly friendly check-in staff (and check out staff, for that matter). Third, with validated parking from the hotel, parking was only 35 bucks a day. Lastly, there is a Starbucks on... More

Cheap cheerful, great location. Rooms small, no cupboards but yet a massive bathroom?? Good cafe next door.. just enjoy new york and just sleep in the room, never in there anyways. New york tremendous but take plenty money, you will need it... just walk....from top to bottom down and up the streets. Little italy, china town, stataferry, statue liberty, ground... More

Rooms at Hotel 373 are small. Period. But if you're like most visitors, you spend very little time in the room. It has comfortable beds, running water, friendly service, free wifi, and great locale. It's a little hard to find, due to its size, but it's great economical lodging.

This hotel was in the perfect location for everything in the middle of 5th Avenue. Empire state building over the road, 5 mins walk from times square, macys and the subway. 15 mins walk from grand central station and around about half an hour walk to central park. The rooms were a little small but as we were only sleeping... More

We and another couple stayed here for 5 nights to experience New York in December and it was great. The hotel was in a great location, the Empire State building was just oposite and the some main streets with Christmas decorations were right on our doorstep. Our hotel room was rather small, there was room for one suitcase, but it... More

My wife and I stayed here for 1 week, between Friday 27th Feb 2015 to Friday 6th March. Upon arrival, the staff were great, very helpful and after a long flight, suggested a great local bar, selling good food and a good selection of beers etc. The staff at the hotel were amazing, rooms cleaned every day!!, coffee making in... I stayed at Hotel 373 for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. I stayed on the third floor facing 35th avenue. It was quiet enough to sleep and the king sized bed was very comfortable. The room is on the small side, but that is expected in New York City. The bathroom was very spacious with a large shower,... More

Just returned from a 4 night break here. The hotel is small, the reception being only big enough for 2 or 3 people at a time and the rooms are roughly the size of a small double room in a standard semi detached house in the UK. This wasn't a problem for us as we only use a room for... More

This should not be called a hotel. More of a Flop House.Lobby is awful, They were mopping up some sort of mess when I arrived. Horrible smell in hallway and an ironing board left out in the hallway when I went to my room. Before I went to my room, I asked if i could cancel if I was not... More

Visited a very cold New York but both hotel and staff provided a warm welcome. Rooms are snug but that's the case in New York and we certainly didn't visit to stay in. Spotless clean rooms and comfy bed and hot powerful shower. Good position right by Empire State Building, good transport and restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay again.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
