I stayed here for a few days this week. Yes, the rooms are quite small. However, I don't spend much time in my hotel room when I travel so it didn't bother me. Perhaps if I hadn't been staying alone it may have made a difference but for a solo business trip it was perfectly adequate. The room was very... More

Stayed here for a night on 16th Jan. I'm still in shock at how small the rooms are. You certainly couldn't swing a cat in one. Staff on check in were friendly but Miss Grumpy was on duty the following day. Didn't even ask how our stay was. Value for money is terrible considering I stayed at Hotel Nyma a... More

This hotel is in the centre of Manhattan, along fifth avenue and only a couple of blocks away from Times Square. It was such a bargain, I was expecting more of a hostel quality because the price was so cheap however I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are small yet it was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. The staff... More

If you are already in Manhattan, then really anywhere is going to be a solid location. But I will give this place extra points for being near the train station (but not close enough where you can drag heavy luggage on foot). The hotel is crisp. Inside my "upgraded" queen room on the top floor (with access to the roof),... More

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and due to a checking out late and leaving the bag in the room I was billed for 373 dollars extra charge (had paid 257 for 2 nights). Made to feel like a criminal for contesting this in the reception. Please avoid this place at all costs. Small rooms, noisy and extremely disappointing... More

Dear Kevin_Irlanda, Unfortunately, on the date of your check out you left your bags in the room and arrived at the hotel at 6 p.m. to remove them. You were charged a full day rate because checkout time is at 12 p.m. This was advised to you upon your check-in. Kind regards, Daniel Cabrera More

Very close to everywhere in Manhattan, this hotel is located just in front of the Empire state Building and a few blocks from Penn Station. It has been given a room at the second floor in my first night. It was almost impossible to sleep because of the noise comming from something like AA or ice machine just beside it.... More

Unbelievably well-situated, at Fifth Avenue and 35th, this simple, well-run boutique hotel is close to the Empire State Building, the New York Public Library, and Bryant Park, and also not far from Grand Central Station. You can even walk to the Theater District. The rooms are small, but prices are competitive, and the internet is good. Front desk staff are... More

Ok, the rooms are small , ...get over it ...this is new york....the staff are great and the hotel is in an incredibly great position to see the sights. Starbucks downstairs if you need a coffee but better still is the diner next door that has everything you need to set you up for the day! Everything worked as it... More

We had never been to NYC before, and what a great time we had. The hotel was not fancy, but very well equipped, the linen was very clean, and the staff were wonderful. They always met us with a smile and seemed genuinely considerate. We celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary. We stayed on the ninth floor and with a look... More

I got the room on Bookit for a fraction of the price, which is typically for their smallest rooms. But the room although small, was still big enough by NYC standards, with a queen size bed. It was clean, with all the necessary amenities, cozy, and quiet. Marble bathrooms add a nice touch. The hotel staff was very helpful, even... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
