When we first looked at this hotel, my boyfirend and I were a bit apprehensive about all the reports that stated the rooms were like a box however on arrival we were pleasently surprised. Firstly, the hotel is in a great location. It's directly opposite the empire state building and a 10/15 minute walk takes you to Times Square. On... more

Although the room is small, it was a very clean, modern room. The bedding was clean, white and fluffy with many excellent pillows. The bathroom was clean, white marble and the towels were thick. The decor was white, bright, and seemed very modern and trendy. The location is excellent as it is near Penn Station and the subway station. There... more

Read the relatively positive reviews and booked this hotel at $240 per night. There is no lobby, indifferent reception staff and truly the smallest box room I have ever seen .If you have a fear of enclosed/small spaces then avoid this place and even if you are not it is such bad value with absolutely no facilities, avoid it anyway.... more

My husband and I have just returned from 4 nights at this hotel. We booked it after reading reviews on here and we weren't disappointed. The hotel is 30 seconds walk from the Empire State building, 10 minutes from Times Square and just in a great location. The rooms are small but as long as you are prepared for this... more

I booked the smallest room with a double bed. We knew that the room would be small. The room was small, especially with our three suitcases! If you took something from the suitcase you had to think where you can put. My husband even fell off the small bed once. Despite of smallness I found the hotel great. We paid... more

Stayed for 5 nights. Hotel is no-frills, staff is very friendly, but hotel does not offer anything except some rooms to sleep in that are in fact very small and a bit on the noisy side. But: Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, location is unbeatable with 1min to the Empire State, 3min to Subway, and lots of restaurants in... more

Superb location. Close enough to Central Station and times square. Take the $15 bus from the airport. Day tickets for the buses and underground are only $7 50 The bedrooms are very small but the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was fine. We ate in Central Station where there are lots of eating places. New york in March is... more
