The staff was always easy going and helpful. The rooms were amazing! They were made with the highest quality which made the transitional style really warm and inviting. The shower had 2 shower heads, each with full body/handheld devices. The bed was really comfortable and the focus on helping the world be a better place with Earth Link was great... More

This was a marvelous boutique Hotel. The staff could not be more friendly, accomodating and efficient. The location is great and close to good subway lines. The peroperty was lovely and rooms were wonderful and quiet. A bit small but the enormous windows made it feel terrific.......truly a lovely place to stay.......

I've stayed at the Duane Street Hotel about a half dozen times over the last couple of years when I've needed to be in lower Manhattan on business. It is in every respect a GEM. The rooms are compact but spotless, contemporary and well-equipped. The staff are universally cordial -- well-trained and happy to be of service. The rates are... More

Great hotel from the moment we arrived in New York. Convenient location in Tribeca with a great vibe. The entire team was helpful, the rooms compact with all the amenities. The bed and bed linens were amazing. Will certainly return!

This is my second time at the hotel, and the staff is always very attentive to your needs, going out of their way to fulfill them. It is a boutique hotel, more exclusive, the rooms are very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, loccitane products, interesting books available in the rooms, and very well located. I will definitely keep coming back.

We had a family birthday celebration in NYC this week. Being somewhat price conscious, we chose the Duane Street Hotel. What a mistake. Initial impressions were positive. Friendly welcome, early check-in. Our Executive King was quite small, but the bed was comfortable. That first night as my wife & I tried to sleep, the heating system constantly cycled off and... Room was so small the door could not fully open. No place to leave your suitcase. King room is not big enough for 2 people to pass each other. It was like having a single car driveway. There is a major subway route under the building and you feel and hear the subway cars all night long. Place is cute,... More

I really wanted to love this hotel! I went for a quick trip to visit friend for my birthday with my boyfriend. The hotel has an adorable lobby, the staff is so helpful, and it's in what I consider to be the perfect location for visiting NYC. However, the room (we had a King Superior) was insanely tiny and just... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
