Every point of contact with the Duane Street Hotel was excellent. I had to make a change to travel plans at the last minute and the team on the phone were helpful and accommodating, the check-in process was lovely and welcoming and every time we came in and out we were greeted with smiles and offers of assistance. Our room... More

My boyfriend and I used a third party booking site to snag a last-minute hotel room, and we were pleasantly surprised with this place. Very typical NYC room - small but efficient. It was clean, the staff was friendly, the products in the rooms were high quality and we had no real issues. The only complaint I had was about... More

The staff was friendly and the room was great. The hotel was a quick trip from Penn Station, and it was very easy to get around the city from its location. Would definitely stay there again on my next trip to NYC.

It's the little things: soft, terry cloth robe; great bars of soap; insulated walls and windows; superb linens and pillows; good cookies and lemon water around checkout; free parking. I loved it. It is a boutique hotel and if this is your first trip to NY that's code for "small". The room isn't huge, but it's very nice and quite... More

I wanted to like this place. The price was great for nyc. However, the second floor room window opened onto the street with NO privacy. I had to keep the black out curtains closed. No coffee in room. Location is convenient to subways. Safe. Clean. Just average.

This hotel is amazing. It is a boutique hotel so it gives you a very personal touch. The front desk remembers you and there is no ling lineup at checkin like the Hiltons. It removes the hassle of the franchise hotels and provide a home feel to it. The rooms were tastefully furnished, clean and you feel very safe in... More

Thank you Capt. Jayden! "Amazing" is a really special word to describe our hotel. As a boutique "independent collection" hotel, our goal is to distinguish ourselves from larger chain properties. Our owners and management company spends a great deal of time to offer unique design and a "personal touch". We really appreciate your recommendation. Please feel free to contact me... More

Stayed here two nights for work. Was fantastic. The location is great--a lot of good restaurants close by, subway close. Fantastic to walk around. There is a managers reception with beer and wine that was nice. Mon-Thurs. The beds were so amazingly comfortable. Front desk and all the staff encountered were very helpful and nice. My only complaint is that... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
