I stayed here for 6 nights in connection with a conference in New York. I was greeted by an extremely friendly and helpful staff. I had to make some changes in my booking, but that was no problem. Because of lack of rooms and that I was staying for so long, they had to put me in a more expensive... More

Stayed here for a night in early May for the 5 Boro Bike Tour for a reasonable NYC rate. The DSH is in a great neighborhood (Tribeca) with easy access to multiple Subway lines. It is easy walking distance of the WTC site, Brooklyn Bridge, Canal Street, Little Italy, the Lower East side, the Village etc. The staff is great...super... More

Located only a few blocks away from busy Financial District and Ground Zero, this cosy but modern hotel was a nice discovery. I stayed for four nights in a queen room on the third floor facing busy Church Street, but not experiencing any noise at all. The bed was comfy, the room average sized and the bathroom with the walking-in... More

Upbeat helpful staff, great design and decor, roomy new room model. I usually don't sleep well the first night in NYC but not at Duane. It was quiet and comfy. Best bed ever. Within walking distance to Freedom Memorial and just 3 short blocks to uptown subway.

Beautiful hotel, helpful staff and a great location. First time in New York and it was a great choice. We stayed for four nights and didn't want to leave. The room was perfect. King-sized bed with lots of room and perfect little touches that made it feel more like an apartment. I've never experienced more welcoming, kind and attentive staff.... More

Great value hotel. In Tribeca. My guess it has been recently remodeled. Rooms a bit small, but our stay was short and we enjoyed it. There it was loud at the bar but in the room, even it was in the next floor, couldn't hear anything... although we could hear a couple arguing from an adjacent room... not blaming the... More

We go to NYC once or twice a year to see a show, shop and generally tour the city. We have stayed at a number of hotels over the past 10 years, but none of them have come close to providing the level of service we received from the staff at the Duane. Everyone - and I mean everyone -... More

I spent one night at the Duane Street Hotel as part of a business trip in March 2012 - it is a small boutique hotel that is well designed and they make every inch of space count - love the decor of the rooms mine was wasabi green with a pine platform bed (I kept walking into the base so... More

I was there for 3 nights. Most front desk staffs did not seem to be helpful nor appear to be friendly except one (I think his name is Mike if I remember correctly, *very tall and thin*).
