I recently stayed here on a 3 night business trip. It is centrally located to restaurants adn relatively close to the subway. The hotel including the rooms were very clean, quiet at night and the bed was comfortable. One thing though - the rooms are quite small. Acceptable but small. Actually when I dropped by at mid day to check... More

Cute, great location, excellent customer service. One of my new favorites ! Was visiting from Chicago for my cousin birthday dinner being held across the street. Took our chances due to location- glad we did!!!!

I recently stayed at the Duane Street Hotel in Tribeca for the first time. The room was very nicely appointed and had everything I needed (especially an umbrella as it was pouring on Sunday!!). Bed was very comfortable and nice amenities. I would recommend it.

The Hotel staff are fantastic and that is what makes your stay ....a more welcoming one. This hotel is close to the food ,shopping and subways which makes it quite central to all actives one might be intersted in. I particulary enjoyed the Happy hour where the team hosts the guest to warm or cold beveages, where they would engage in... More

We wanted to stay in Tribeca and this was a great decision. The people at the desk were personable. Our room was small (as most are in New York) but it had wonderful high ceilings and made good use of the space. One day I went down and asked for ice. It wasn't but a minute later and someone appeared... More

The staff here make a big effort here and it is very easy to relax in this hotel. The bar area is comfortable and friendly, the barman helpful but also unobtrusive. The house style is quirky and cool (there is a bicycle in reception!) and the light/ambiance in the public areas chic and welcoming. The rooms have great blinds and... More

We stayed in 3 rooms for a 9 night stay over the Christmas break. The rooms are small but of a good standard. The isn't a kettle in the room which is disappointing. The bathrooms were very nice and had great products replaced daily. Location was excellent and a 3 minute stroll to Chamber street subway. There are some nice... More

My husband and I live in the city, but were getting married nearby and decided to stay here for the wedding weekend, and host our out-of-town guests here as well. It was the perfect choice. The hotel was upfront about costs, cooperative, flexible, and kind. When the weekend wedding arrived, they were awesome: coordinating check-ins, passing out welcome bags to... More

We booked three rooms for a family trip from Australia to have Christmas in new York. Had prepaid accommodation online however the hotel hadn't processed the charge. When we checked in we were told it was prepaid and the same again at check out. Once we had checked out we started to get additional charges appearing on our cards. They... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
