My daughter and I really liked this hotel. We stayed for a week and would highly recommend Staying here. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotels location made everything we wanted to do easy. The only downside was that there were no laundry facilities. We would definitely stay here again.

Great staff in a simple and clean boutique hotel situated in a fantastic location. This best describes Duane Street Hotel. Highly recommended for couples! A wonderful place indeed. And I'm already thinking about booking a room at this hotel for my next visit to Manhattan.

Very convenient location for travelers with business in Lower Manhattan or travelers who want to explore Tribeca and SoHo. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for me, but I can imagine that relatively small rooms and somewhat edgy aesthetic may not be everyone's cup of tea.

I loved this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. The rooms are not enormous, but, by new York Standards the room was big. Tthe high ceilings make the room feel much bigger as well. Everything was immaculate. I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The free wi-fi is a huge... More

I booked this hotel through the hoteltonight.com app. We were visiting family in NJ over the recent Thanksgiving holiday. We wanted to spend an evening in the city before leaving town. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is a smaller boutique type hotel but had every accommodation that you would need. The rooms were clean and modern. The... More

Tucked into the corner of Dunane and Chruch, near the historic City Hall, and within walking distance of the Brooklyn Bridge and the lower east side, this classy boutique hotel offers stylish black-&-white rooms with hardwood floors, slate bathrooms & free WiFi. We arrived early, to find the double queen we'd book unavailable. Instead we were offered two queen rooms,... More

We recently stayed at the Duane. It's in a fantastic location, walking distance to WTC Memorial, and in NYC best neighborhood! There are two subway stops near by and your access to everything from the Duane was fantastic! Room was small, but typical for NYC. After departure I realized I left my cell phone in the room! They immediately located... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
