Nice room but very dark. Great location for theatre goers.
This small boutique hotel had the finest service of any hotel I've stayed in recent times. Not only were they good at what they do but go out of their way to be helpful and friendly, all with sincerity.
The room was very quite although it was on the street side and was clean and comfortable. Although it was small,...

The small but well-appointed room was charming and contained all the amenities we needed. Our room overlooked the street and I loved the opportunities to watch the bustle from above. It is well located near theaters, subways, shopping and Times Square. With their own good restaurant on site and a gastropub and the renowned Lamb's Club next door, this hotel...

Loved this hotel! Beautiful, clean and quiet rooms, great staff and amenities. Although the rooms are on the small side (typical NYC room-size) and the efficient elevators like a small closet (we met friends in this intimate space...will they call or write?) we had a lovely time in every way.
We had a large group (11 people) meet up in...

Staff was very courteous and hotel was only a few doors down from ABC and close to Times Square. Room was small but clean. We had a horrible view since our window was in the inside square but we really didn't stay in the room much. There was a lot of snacks on one of the places you could put...

Relaxed, friendly, helpful staff were remarkable. I am in wheelchair and at no point was there any inconvenience resulting from it. Room was excellent, food at attached diner was great but staff and unbeatable location are primary reason we will return. Executive Room had more than enough space.
We really enjoyed our stay at hotel Mela.
The hotel is right in the heart of time square and the staff are really friendly.
The room is small but that is expected in new york and you do pay for what you get. for the price you will not get a better hotel.
I can see peoples comments regarding the...

We spent three nights at the Hotel Mela in May.The hotel is in an excellent location for NYC theater, Times Square, and the half-price theater TKTS booth. It's an easy walk to Rockefeller Center also. Subways are very nearby. That said, it was impossible to get a taxi from the hotel. They did not seem to come down the street,...

This hotel is very sneaky when it comes to charging you for items that you do not consume from the minibar. I was assured twice that I was not going to be charged for the items that I didn't consume from the minibar by the front desk, but still I am charged. I will never do business with them. Very...

We stayed here on a travelzoo deal which included a room upgrade, breakfast and a drink next door.
Our room was a King and the bed was HUGE! Room was a little on the small side but we still had space for two medium suitcases.
The room had everything we needed and the shower was a good and powerful one....
